Good dhaba style food. Chicken appetizers were the highlight.
Rating based entirely on lamb kebob and garlic naan. They have a large menu but I am not familiar with the cuisine and the... place is the kind of dive that makes you think twice about exploring the menu. I saw that they were making naan bread freshwith a real tandoori oven so I got garlic naan and lamb kebob. The final total seemed a little off from the prices published inthe video monitors overhead (and unless Im drunk I dont make arithmetic mistakes…and I was not drunk). Lamb kebob had goodflavor but you get just the “tube” of meat plus a little cucumber chutney. Garlic naan was little crispy outside and softand chewy on the inside. Delicious. Read more
Food is Fantastic. If you are a takeout person, then I would give the food 4.5 STARS. The 1 star is for Customer Service: For a... Party of 3, they have added Service Charges hand written in the bill. After asking, the waiter told me that "whenever totalinvoice amount is more than $50.00 , I add the service charge." (I am hearing this for the first time in my life) Then when Igave my card to pay the balance, in the receipt there was a charge of $3.19. I asked about that charge and the answer was"Technology Fee" (Again, first time hearing this) Anyway, my personal experience at this restaurant service was horrible, butgood was good. Read more
AVOID! BEWARE!! Save yourselves the headache, plenty of better choices around the area. They served us SPOILED food!! Went in... yesterday (8/18) with family for a quick dinner….the place was very empty, more employees hanging around than customers, whichshould’ve been a RED FLAG. We quickly realized there was NO customer service AT ALL. None of the staff acknowledged us and ourwaiter barely even looked at us, let alone provide any form of service and we just had to figure everything out by ourselves,including the menu….we ordered Butter Chicken, Tea, Chicken Kabab, Mango Lassi, Naan & Potato Parantha….our waiter keptchanging and none any better than the rest….he also introduced the chicken as “Tikka Masala” and when I inquired becausewe had ordered Butter Chicken, he said that the dish he brought was correct & it was Butter Chicken, this was a bit bizarre butwe let it go at the time….and the best part?!? They served us ROTTEN, OLD Butter Chicken! When we complained (again, there wasa BIG COMMUNICATION barrier), they tried to pass it off as nothing being wrong but agreed to exchange for another curry - wedecided on Chicken Curry (while not spoiled, it was not good either and we barely touched it). The rest of the food wasthankfully still edible, although not remarkable or delicious. It was also strange & sketchy how they decided to add in anadditional charge as “service charge” handwritten on our bill….honestly, we were peeved because while I happily ALWAYS tipfor good service, this entire experience was anything but….additionally, the item was listed in fact as, “Tikka Masala,”of course, while EXTREMELY UNHAPPY, we just wanted to leave at that point so, we didn’t even argue and left after paying thebill. 1 Star rating because they delayed our order over half an hour, They gave us burnt food and hard food. They also charged us for... water without telling us the water was being charged. The bread was really dry and they didn’t even give us proper salad orsauce. The plates were not even cleaned properly which disgusted me. Overall this was a terrible experience I recommend that youdo not go here. Read more
