Very dissapointed for the Omakase with $170 plus tax and tip. First 3 appetizers had no taste and they did not whet any... appetite. All sushi had no taste. A few of them were fishy and not fresh. Was the Uni from Hokkaido???? No taste. Could noteven finish the soup. The taste was herb and the soup did not go with the Sushi. Chef should rather serve traditional misosoup at the end. They really need major improvement or decrease the prices. Read more

Excellent experience. Did the sushi omakase. Wayne was a great chef. We loved how he honored the fish, accenting each one with... creative flavors but not overwhelming them. There were no crazy toppings- just pure, fresh and minimal. Kind service as well. Will probably go back to try the kaiseki. Read more

Wow, what a fantastic dining experience. Koyo very quickly made its way to the top of my omakase list. Food was impeccable–you... can really taste the high quality ingredients (even the uji matcha from Hokkaido was amazing.) Some highlights: the wagyu (ofcourse), the ceviche-esque fish dish (sigh, wish I got the names better), and a couple nigiris. Everything was so well done. Wealso got two bottles of the recommended sake pairing. Speaking of recommended, service was fantastic! Our server and the chefswere super knowledgeable and friendly. A really remarkable dinner! Definitely coming back for another special occasion. Read more

Omakase for $150 includes 12-16 courses. Koyo rotates their menu seasonally to incorporate new dishes and fresh catch from... different regions in Japan. This menu is more creative than your average omakase, constantly trying new combinations andtextures and somehow everything hits. Definitely a personal favorite Read more

Came to expect the exceptional experience and turned into a bit of disappointment. After I had a few dishes, I felt a roughness... in my throat. And this was never resolved during the entire experience. To be honest, I rather spend the money in other place. If you expect a certain quality of Onakase in this restaurant, please check other places. Because I had such a disappointingexperience with this restaurant. I never got any refund that I was told. Very expensive for what you will expect and experience. Read more

I enjoyed the sushi, but the pacing of the meal was way too slow at the beginning. Our reservation was at 7:30 but we didn’t... get our first bite until 8:00 and each kaiseki piece in the beginning took a long time. The pacing during and after the nigiriwas a lot better. All the items were quite tasty. The highlights for me were the sakizuke, smoked anago, the tuna nigiris, andthe dessert. Read more

Shared an exquisite meal here with some friends, it felt like we went on a vacation for 3 hours. The attention to detail for... the entire omakase summer menu was impressive (for example the chef used tweezers to pick out the right micro green), the hostwas infallibly polite and knowledgable, and the food was perfection. Would recommend to anyone who enjoys sushi. Read more

Made reservations for dinner at the patio was worried it would be cold but they had heat lamps and a small fire pit nearby. It... was nice to be in the back of the restaurant away from the street. Service was great and food was delicious. Would definitelypreferred on counter but it was still a nice dining experience. Will come back again for the counter experience. Highlyrecommended if you have money to splurge with your special someone. Read more
