Pretty good food, sushi and hot options. Drinks are insanely priced, you on have 1.5 hours. The wagyu beef is th way to go, I... have the sweet daishi hotpot. My family and I enjoyed this spot and it was reasonably priced Read more

You don't need to read my review to know it's one of the best buffets on Long Island. Mizumi has a buffet section, very large... sushi section and a nice assortment of items for the at table hot pots. They somehow manage to do a really good job at all threewhile keeping it stocked, clean and not crowded. We came for the great sushi but found out about the hotpot (which both couldindividually warrant the price). We went on a weeknight and had a short wait but nothing too bad. It was $35 per person andwhile high, is well worth the money (especially since nearby buffet's charge $20+ for 1/10 of what this place offers). Wellworth the drive and money. Read more

Great sushi place. Quite an assortment of sushi and sushi-mi. They also have the Hot Pot at each table. It is all self-serve so... the wait staff were OK. Super fresh, great assortment. At the risk of sounding racist, I was there at lunch time and the placewas packed with mostly middle-aged Asian folks ( I am past middle-age...). I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone thatlikes sushi and Asian food! I will go back there the next time I am in the area. Read more

It was not worth the money or the hype. We went for a weeknight dinner and as you can see from the photos, the ?wagyu? was not... fresh and had black edges. Their major cooked seafood dish was a mixed batch of mussels, crab legs, potatoes and crayfish thathad no taste. Overall the store had 3 big sections for food, sushi, hot food, and raw ingredients for hotpot. There is no optionfor you to skip on the hotpot and the hotpot was just very, very mediocre. They did not hire any professional sushi chef andtheir sushi pieces were rolled into Swiss rolls with mostly rice barely any ingredients. No sashimi served only nigiris. I agreewith most comments about their dessert, the best dessert would probably be the weird flavor macaroons they got from Costco. Ohand that soft serve is not ice cream, it?s frozen yogurt. I suggest you play a game with penalties prior to coming here and havethe person who lost eat a whole yogurt, it will be fun. Maybe the place was better prior to them incorporating the hot pot, butfor now it?s not worth going back again. There?s just too many things going on and none of them excel in their category. This is mostly an AYCE hotpot place with sushi and a small variety of dishes to choose from the hot bar. I thought the dishes... were decent for a buffet and had some good choices (e.g. deep-fried soft shell crab, sautéed crab on sauce, LA Kalbi, etc).Their sushi selection was also big on variety, but I think the rolls were lacking a little in both taste and execution. Severalof my rolls fell apart and everything fell out to the point where I had to eat each filling separately. I also felt like severalof them tasted similar without much distinction in palates between them. For the hotpot, I liked how there was a good selectionof toppings to bring back to your table ranging from veggies, to seafood, to meats, to noodles, to fish balls, etc. One thing Iwasn't too fond of was their sauces. They have a lot of unique housemade sauces, but I have my own particular hotpot saucerecipe and they were missing in some of those base sauces that I was looking for. Still, overall it's good experience, especially if you can manage the long wait time, which could last anywhere from 40 minutes to an hour. Read more

All you can eat lunch for $27 and it includes meats!! This place is amazing and has all the essential hot pot food items and... sauces. They also have a cooked food bar which has delicious items too if you have the room for it! The only thing I wish wasbetter was the ice cream machine. It?s not actually ice cream but rather yogurt and it was a little sour which we all thoughtwas a bit off but was assured it was normal Read more

Ignore all the haters!! For $35 this is an amazing deal for everything they offer. It has all kinds of sliced meats for hotpot... (including wagyu beef included), fish balls, mushrooms, veggies, sushi, cooked foods, noodles! They even have a big stationdedicated to making your own custom sauces. Service was great, the meal was satisfying. I would definitely come back. Read more
