I was here twice in my life, once about a decade ago, and again this week. The food, well you better get ready to eat, because... the plates are absolutely massive! Pricing is fair but it's worth it. Our server was really helpful I had the Bandeja típica, which consisted of bistek, pork belly, rice, beans, plantain, and arepa. Everything was delicious! I ordered myself a lulo, sorry if the spelling is wrong, for a drink, it was really tasty and filling. I definitely recommend coming here if your in NYC,and want some local cuisine straight from the barrio! Read more

This is a happy spot, don’t expect anything fancy, you come in for Spanish food and good drinks. Service here a hit or miss.... Sometimes the server forgets that they have a table ???? but then they see you and run to you. It has happen to me more thantwice. It wasn’t busy. But the guy was friendly and don’t forget anything on the order. Food is ok for what you pay, bigportions. Only thin with the food was that the beans sauce was too watery and the salad look like it wilted a few days ago.Other than that the rest of the food was on par. Alcohol drinks here are good, same with the natural juices they sell. I’llcome back again hoping the server don’t forget his clients ???? Read more

I visited this place 6 years ago!and I went back on 8/10/22, my Goodness, :it's not the same as it used to be; rice, yuca and... arepa, a great deal of carbohydrates.A lot of sugar, not a good idea. We spent $70 dollars. The food is not the same as it usedto be. I noticed that the waitress put a lot of emphasis on the tip and they make sure the tip has to be significantbig....... Read more

Usually always good food here. There are a few locations and all of them cook about the same quality of food. The food came out... crazy fast and the service was on point. 44 dolls for 2 people is pretty cheap considering NYC prices. Update...Fri August 28.I'm not taking away any stars but we ordered similar food items as last time and both came out way over cooked and almost blackin color. I should of returned it but I ate most of it anyway because I thought it would be ok but it wasn't. Next time pleaseif the food is that burnt don't serve it to the customer because it ruined the good first time I had. Read more
