Reviews for Porcelain in Queens, NY
Fusion Asian style cuisines. Smart while giving you a taste of Korea traditional but creative way to enjoy the food. Must order... fried chicken, steam eggs(firm like firm tofu), shrimp with sticky rice cake and oyster mushroom, and a bitter melondish. Surprised by this level of tasty and want to explore more in this neighborhood. The cocktail is also good, and theservice, hygiene are great. Read more
Lovely vibe nice people and very yummy food. We had the yuba and the prawns and loved both. 10/10 will return.
Great restaurant in Ridgewood. Staff was friendly as soon as we walked in. (Recommend to make reservations for dinner as I feel... lots more people will be visiting in the near future) Interior was cool too. Seems like most of the interior was preserved fora nostalgic feel. Asian inspired cuisine was great. The food seemed to be a little experimental, but very flavorful. Greatselection of wine. The cutlery was nice. The Nori Fried Pork Chop and Kimchi Brined Fried Chicken were amazing!!! The ColdTongue Noodles weren't our favorite. Overall great experience! Read more
Delicious Asian restaurant. Went with a party of 5 and split dishes family style. We ordered the Hot & Sour Potatoes, Triple... Chili Yuba, Kimchi-Brined Fried Half Chicken, Steamed Egg, Steamed Whole Branzino, and Dandan Lasagna. Everything tasteddelicious and the Yuba and Lasagna were the standouts. Our waitress was extremely nice and the vibes of the restaurant aregreat. Read more
Everything lived up to the hype, especially the Dan Dan Lasagna, Branzino and Kimchi Brined Fried Half Chicken (don’t forget... to eat all the greens, side kimchi was too salty for my taste). The menu has a lot of GF and V options, and the staff was solovely and patient when answering questions about ingredients for nut and cucumber allergies. The music was upbeat andenergizing and everyone there was chill, seemed like locals. I can’t wait to be back to taste through more of the menu soon. Read more
What a cute spot. Interesting foods. I guess it's a little pricey for the modern millennial. Lol. It's definitely an interesting... spot. The Irishman was shot here. Maybe it was a cold windy night. Only 1 party the entire time I was there. I heard it's thisspot or the acre. Enjoy. Read more
I was so excited to see mead on the drink menu!!! So obviously they get major points for having a more diverse drink menu than... the typical local neighborhood restaurant. The sever was great as she gave recommendations on where we can hang out after basedon our drink tastes. She was very knowledgeable of the menu and friendly. Customers are only allowed to sit inside without amask if you have your vaccine proof. If not you will be seated outside which is fine because they have a cute outdoor seatingare. Read more
Food was decent. Service failed for me. I didn’t wanna do this because I work in the industry and usually just enjoy a good... time but I waited to get rice after I asked numerous times. I got an attitude from server saying kitchen is short staffed. Veryunderstandable if entrees had some wait but to have a long wait for a bowl of rice when I saw another table got it was kind ofoff. I couldn’t finish the meal anymore as the vibe from server was off and hard to approach. Took the rest to go. Two starsinstead of 1 since we enjoyed the two pork dishes together with the steamed egg. Just had an off experience from the service andwas saddened by this since I wanted to try more in the menu. Even so, I still tipped properly. Food is good and well seasonedand cook. Maybe focus on improving service Read more
