The workers were so nice! Great service and lively location! Nice selection of Indian food and drinks, although I wish they had... masala chai. Everything we had was delicious! I?ll definitely go back when I visit Queens again. ???? Read more

The food was amazing. We got several dishes and shared, we had plenty leftover to take home. The waiter was attentive and my... water was always being refilled. The price was very reasonable. I would definitely recommend to anyone who likes Indian food oris interested in trying it. Read more

When we received the appetizers(chicken malai kabab), i felt it was nice and tasted good. After ther appetizer, we got the... chicken biryani(we had just that option in the biryani) and it was not at all good. I felt they had some chicken curry and mixedit with the rice and brought it. I expected some flavors of biryani but I should say it was pathetic. For biryani, i may give itjust a star, but for the appetizer, i would give 4 star. Read more

Definitely the best Indian food in Astoria, feels like a spot that?s always packed, and compares in quality and flavor to what... you can find in Jackson Heights. Food came out fast, tender, flavorful, and fresh. Love this spot! Read more

Great place. I am a person who doesn?t have Indian food very often but this is still to date my best experience yet. Very... delicious and comforting - I felt so happy and just comforted after my meal. ?? also, I am vegan and the menu is very veganfriendly, which is always appreciated. I had the vegan cauliflower main dish called Aloo Gobi Matar. Really nice- the roti wasfun to eat it with. Also tried to two vegan appetizers - vegetable samosas and pakora. I would recommend the pakora if I had tochoose one but worth getting both to try them. Lastly, the staff was very nice and accommodating and made an effort to check upon us a few times to make sure we were enjoying everything. Five star! I can?t say I would change anything - but caveating I donot have a lot of experience with trying different Indian restaurants. Edit: we went to Seva again. I wanted to come on here todouble check the rating because they are in fact five star for a few reasons: 1) their food is delicious and homey and feel goodfood 2) the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, 3) this place doesn?t break the bank at all and is very reasonable which in NYC issaying something and 4) the staff is wonderful. This time I tried to Chana Masala and we ordered it with the roti. It comeswith basmati rice but I didn?t eat the rice. The chana masala was amazing. Another meal reco for a vegan or anyone in generalwho likes chickpea dishes. Read more

Very generous and tasty food. I got chicken saag (spinach) and chicken korma as well as daal. My favorite was the saag. Cooked... so well, in the right amount of spiciness. For dessert I took the Kheeer which is simple but good too. I couldn?t find butterchicken in the menu which was disappointing and personally I prefer black daal (lentils) over yellow. Read more
