We order the family platter from this restaurant for my friend's birthday. I must say we were very impressed with the portion... plus the quality of the food was excellent. The food was super delicious and it was top-notch Afghani food. I have tried Afghanifoods in many places. But this place's food was really good. The platting was very neatly and organized. Told me 20mins on the phone, I got there and they ended up taking an hour, opened my fast with a can of brisk. Food was not good... at all, all the meat tasted the same, chicken tikka was mushy and all the meat was burnt. Said he gave extra white sauce andonly 2 small in the bag. I was introduced to Bakhtar by some friends who order out from there regularly. The food, the owners and the location are are... wonderful. Fairly priced and expertly prepared Afghani food. I look forward to returning for another kulfi ice cream flavorand to try their lamb chops. Read more

Food tastes okay. Price is reasonable. I ordered beef kofta, chicken kofta with rice/salad and chicken kofta, tikka with... rice/salad. Chicken kofta and tikka tested good however, beef kofta tasted little weird. Salad were fresh. Rice wasn’t toogreasy. I wanna try other dishes from the menu in future. Read more
