Hate to say it, but the workers here need better customer service training. I pre-ordered a "NITRO Cold Brew", and when I... arrived to pick up my item, they replaced it with a "Vanilla Sweet Cream Cold Brew" because they ran out of the nitro. Thebarista assured me that they were the exact same thing. No, I told her. One is a nitro; the other is not. As a barista, sheshould know that. Then, she said that one has less caffeine, but they have the same amount of caffeine, and I told her thatstatement makes no sense. How can one have less caffeine, but they have the same amount of caffeine? I looked it up on theirwebsite, and of course it's not right. Moreover, the nitro cold brew is more expensive, so they were trying to replace my itemwith a cheaper one. I told her she's giving me false info and trying to replace my coffee with a cheaper one which isn't cool,and then she proceeds to very uncomfortably, rudely issued me a refund without a smile or apology. Fast forward to today, andthe same issue happened with the nitro cold brew - sold out. This time, the same barista told me that this happens because "youhave it marked as a favorite on the app". No surprise she said "you" as to blame the customer. First, I did not mark anything asa favorite (I don't even know how to do that on the Sbux app). Second, there are instances when the item is marked as "sold out"on the app, but today, it was not, so there's obviously a way to mark it as available or sold out on your end, so don't blame me- blame yourselves. Worst part is they again tried to replace the nitro with the cheaper item. When this happens, it's prettysimple: place the cup upside down on the pick-up mat to visually show that something is wrong. When the customer arrives, offerthem a refund and a complimentary coffee for listing a sold out item unnecessarily on the app and APOLOGIZE. The worst possible coffee shop with the worst and most inattentive workers. This place is always busy with people who are... waiting to get their orders. But the wait is crested by the clueless people who work behind the counter. Avoid at all cost. Thewhile staff needs to be changed with better trained people. Read more

There is always a crowd of at least 4 people waiting by app pick up. The pick up counter is always more than 5 people. I have... ordered from this store about three times through the app for pick up. I have had to wait an extra 4-5 mins for my drink andwhen I did get it, it would by watery. I always ordered about 3pm-5pm on weekdays. Although I do love the frozen drinks, whichis what i order. I will be trying the new Starbucks that opened recently at Queens Boro Plaza. I am hoping to have a betterexperience there. Read more

Well, I'm delighted to report that this is one of the best ''Bucks I've been in since Seattle. We were there toward the end of... the day, so naturally the wee bakery section was nearly emtpy, but don't let that fool you. The coffee was actually strong - nothalf-watery as it is in a lot of chains. The staff was super-helpful and polite, and the space is GREAT. It's huge andtastefully decorated, and the music is just loud enough to entertain without being so loud it drowns out conversation. I'lldefinitely be coming here to write. You might guess from these comments that these things go very wrong at some Starbucks, so Iam quite happy. Anyway, we will be back. The LIC definitely lucked out with this particular branch.
