I really go there because I need to change what I eat for a snack, they have the veggies that are so fresh, even the bread baked... soft and warm, and I can choose any kind of meat like ham salami, But if there is chicken then I'll have my meal with chicken init. this is a great place to choose the healthy place to eat, you can decide anything as long they eat their vegetables to givethem energy and power. Food here is okay. The staff are well typical subway sandwich staff. So why am I giving a one star? I know this sounds weird but... as a guy who live in woodside (yes we have subway over there too) I come to elmhurst for grocery shop almost every other day.And when I don?t feel like having Chinese food, or Thai, or Latino food. I would for the elmhurst famous pizza by the LIRRrailroad or this subway place. Again the staff is not too terrible, and the food ??well its a typical subway sandwich so youcan insert either good or bad. I ve been here quite a few times and encountered angry customers and it?s almost always the samepeople. That punk Asian kid, the rude Indian old lady, I can name a few. The staff are either too innocent to understand thesituation or too tried from the long hours with low pay that they can?t handle anything outside their pay grade. I ve seenpeople who gets impatient waiting in the line. By the way this subway whole entire place is a size of a thanksgiving dinnertable, that?s how small it is. Look at the picture form the google map. When too many people are in there you bet they getangry. The staff even then can?t work faster, I don?t blame them you can?t blame them it?s not their fault. They are unequipped to handle situations like that. There are people who are afraid of going in or being close to other people becausethey are afraid of germs. Especially during Covid era. The hospital across the street was the epicenter! This small sub way isthe only subway they have in that town elmhurst and the surrounding Jackson heights. And although it helps the owner thatthere?s a hospital nearby where they have customers constantly coming. It?s not good for the employees and the customers. Read more
