First impression- there is nobody to welcome. No one to assign you a table. Just sit where you find space and wait for 5 minutes... before someone will come to your table to take your order. Impression changed after having food- super delicious food. Nicequantity and right price. Once order is placed, it arrives quickly. Very few Indian restaurants that are so simple and offerslike home cooked food. I am visiting this place once again. Read more

Tadka Indian Cuisine is a great place to eat. What makes it unique is the hospitality and warmth of Meena ji. The food is not... only appealing, it's very tasty. They have maintained the Indian hospitality and this is evident by many things like- they don'tcharge for many things, like they serve water, papad, chatnis(dips) with the meal at no additional price. Meena's thoughtfulgestures win my heart. Thank you Tadka Indian Cuisine. May you continue to flourish. Read more

This place no longer has AYCE Lunch Buffet (I was there on October 7, 2022). I walked in, saw one worker who was standing near... a table which had two people seated. The three of them were chatting like old friends and it was a good minute before theworker looked my way. I asked if the place had AYCE Buffet and the worker quipped, ?No?, then quickly diverted his attentionback to the seated men at the table. I then quickly glanced the place over for about ten seconds before walking out, sensingthat my further presence would just be a distracting nuisance to the three men chatting. Read more

Found this little Gem for all my Indian food needs and is the best I've had in the NYC area. I had the lamb curry with rice and... Naan which was delightful. I fashion myself an A list reviewer so I almost always take picture before the meal but I guess thefood was that good that I hopped right in! Doh. Read more

Been here several times in one week. Very good Indian food, well served in quantity and quality. Fair price. Nice people.

I have loved this place for some 15 years (used to be called 5 Star and was open 24/7) but the reduction in hours, the increase... in prices, the decreasing quality and the fact that I ordered delivery that never came and when I called they just said "oh yeahthey never came" - they made no effort to contact me or the delivery company so I just sat here waiting for food that was nevercoming. And since it appears I'm complaining the bathrooms are disgusting. All very sad as it used to be my favorite spot forNorth Indian/Punjabi food in the city. Read more
