Wow! Just wow!! If you are looking for a delicious Sushi meal! This is the place to come. There is a sushi bar too!!! It's a... bit on the pricer side, but for the quality, it's well worth it. This is not the every day sushi place down the street. Mydaughter wants to come back here for her 13th birthday. My husband and I want to come for the Omakase. Can't wait to comeback! Read more

I went here for dinner. I ordered fluck carpaccio but they didnt have fluck and hamachi, so we got scallop instead. To me, raw... scallop and grape tomato wasnt really a good pair, also each scallop got one salmon roe seemed to cheap to be honest. Also, smoked toro is a one bite size just so u know, and it is finely chopped. Overall, taste of food was fine but over priced forwhat they serve. I ordered four different dishes but one dish never came out, so we asked for checks and found out server didntordered it. Read more

Tara sushi is HANDS DOWN the best Japanese restaurant in the Bayside Littleneck area. Quite possibly even the BEST in... QUEENS. Every time I visit this restaurant, it amazes me more and more. Jimmy, and Ben truly know how to take care of theirclients. And they make sure to go above and beyond the call of service to make each patrons meal a special experience. My mealstarted off with the tako wasa, a delicious Wasabi infused raw octopus served in a seaweed wrap. A great palate cleanser and agreat way to start off your meal. Next to touch my tastebuds was their chowanmushi, seved in an egg shell and stuffed with thesteamed egg, ikura and uni.... I could have eaten a dozen. The egg was silkynand light and the seafood saltiness from the caviarand uni tantalize my tastebuds as they were left craving for more. Next, out table shared the tuna tataki. Seared to perfectionthis small bite didn't disappoint. I loved the shrimp chips and the garnishes that made this dish complete. Our next dishes tocome, came from the kitchen.... gyozas and some fried tofu. While the gyozas were delicious.... the Tofu was phenomenal! Lightand crispy on the outside.... Hot and silky on the inside. The perfect little bite that our table didn't want to end. Finally, Ifinished off my meal with a sushi platter for 1, and a few specialty rolls for the table to share. And you can tell just fromthe pictures how incredible everything is. It tastes even better than it looks. Not pictured was their signature yuzu ikurasushi.... only because I ate it too quickly to photograph it. Lol. Which is proof enough to how incredible this restaurantis. Thank you again Jimmy and Ben for an amazing evening out. Can't wait to come back! Read more

Very very strong quality for the price here. They source premium ingredients so there’s a good range — you can spend $30 or... $100 and be happy with both. Definitely the best sushi in the neighborhood, highly recommend Read more

Their fatty tuna is nice. It is super fatty, fresh, and soft. They also have what tasted like fatty salmon and it was great in... the omakase. Rolls are flavorful and several have fatty tuna in there. Dishes are high in price but so is the quality and cutsof fish. Read more
