I’m a traveller. I have been in Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore many times. This restaurant is one of few that can give you... an authentic taste of these places miles away. The food is just delicious, well cooked and mouthwatering. This is why me and mylady decided to go back the next day. I’ve tried curries and Pad Thai. Simply amazing and not mention the rice curry. Nice intimate place with some street parking nearby. Single hostess/waitress efficiently took your order and later emerged with... your food, at reasonable meal pace. Was attentive to diner needs while also handling steady flow of delivery drivers pickingup. Menu has nice variety without being too cluttered. Reasonable prices and lunch special options. I enjoyed 2 dishes I'd nevertried before and 2 staple items. Read more
Dined here today by myself! I came in around 2pm and the waitress was friendly, kind, knowledgeable, gave me space when I needed... it (which I appreciate a lot), and very attentive! Someone recommended this place to me because I love spicy food & I look for halal places. I was bored with my typical desi food.... So on my way to Jackson heights I went to try it out. It’s a small & simple store! But very clean tho. Food was really good,I tried Thai soup & fried wonton . Loved the soup. Ordered takeout for my kid beef lomain & beef sizzler. It took me a while togo home, and when I give it to my son he didn’t like none ! It could be that it was not fresh, some food do taste betterfresh. After microwave some just don’t taste the same ! Or it could be that every food can’t be tasty to me, every human hasdifferent taste! The owner was there, wonderful person. Answered all my questions, his hospitality was awesome ! He isoriginally from Thailand & running this restaurant with his youngest daughter! It’s totally family owned business! Talking tohim was like I was talking to my dad, always smiling & very down to earth person ! The prices of the food was actually veryreasonable & good amount of food in one order. I love the fact on soup orders they have 2 sizes, gives me a chance to trydifferent ones. Typically I try not to visit one place twice, because second time my experience always not the best. I justdon’t wanna ruin the first memories! But I will definitely visit this place again , because of the hospitality! I am hoping itwill be the same or even better. And I can try out the different items on the menu ! I wish I could give 5 stars, but had totake it out because of the 2 dishes which wasn’t liked by a big foodie! Everything tasted great, was cooked just right, and the portions were the right size for sharing and trying many things. The... prices are also very reasonable and the service is friendly. The deep fried fish was particularly tasty, it wasn't greasy atall, and the sauce was delicious. The laab had plenty of meat and the smoked chilis were a nice tough. Very authentic taste. Tried massaman curry and it tasted very good. Prices per dish are around 10 to 15 dollar. Not very busy .... Fast service. I would recommend. Only criticism is that serving size is underwhelming. Would visit again but not with anempty stomach. Read more
