First, I just want to say how genuinely nice everyone who works here is! But I was definitely confused and disappointed that an... ale house would 1)not know much about beer and 2)serve warm, kicked beer not once but twice. Seriously, how does the photo Iattached not make you laugh! ???? We ordered Two Roads IPA, and the server said they ran out but offered Ithaca Pale Ale,saying it tastes the same (anyone who knows beer knows it is not even remotely alike). We asked for Goose Island, but not onlywas it flat and tasteless, it was lukewarm as well. My partner and I hate complaining about anything, but we specificallytrekked over for a refreshing post-work beer, so we let the server know, and she was kind enough to switch it out for the Ithacashe originally recommended. (We assumed maybe it was the only beer that wasn't kicked and that's why she recommended it!) Whatshe brought over next can only be described as (again, lukewarm) water with a splash of beer. As you can see in the photo, it'sbasically clear. The palest pale ale known to man lol. It'd be one thing if it was a busy night or if it were dark inside, butwe were 2 of maybe 6 customers and it's definitely bright enough in there for the bartender to have noticed. We paid for ourfood (the wings are very dry and bland, mozzarella sticks are great!), and we also paid for the "beer" that we left completelyuntouched, and promptly left. So here's to a 5 star shout out for the best server in Ridgewood ale house Svetlana who goes by Lana. She was very attentive,... gave us a bang for our buck and fixed me up an extra special zombie. She made me feel like I was at home and shared some of hertime with us to make sure we left no less than very happy. Chicken tenders were fresh and filling and our cups were always full.I will be back for more Lana! Thank you for being so kind and attentive. Read more

The upstairs is a perfect chill spot for you and a few friends. Cute selfie corner. Server was very sweet. Each day is a theme.... We went on a Wed night. There was only one server so everything took forever. The mixed drinks where a bit watery. The Mac ncheese was plain. Chicken tenders good for the kids. Shots are small for the price. Every time I visit I am never disappointed. I am guaranteed to have good food, good music and the best drinks thanks to our... waitress/bartender Kelly! She's attentive and knows exactly when I need my next drink. What more can you ask for? ????
