At this point I don?t know why I even bother with this place, always something. To even take my time out to write a review is... just absurd & out of character. But I feel as if the managers/owners should see this. Even though I?m pretty sure they?re veryaware of how this place is being run with/without their presence. Funny thing is the staff doesn?t know who personally knows theowners or not. You can ALWAYS count on bad, slow, & rude service here. The food or drinks are either a hit or miss & neverconsistent. Then they have the audacity to add auto gratuity. They lie about their lunch special hours & prices in person. Ithen went outside to purposely call the restaurant to verify if what they were telling me was true but then they told mesomething completely different over the phone.They should put the signs away if the lunches end at 4pm one day but then at 2pmthe next. I just took my food to go, I refused to sit down and eat. Especially after I watched a server talk down to an elderlyconfused woman that was just trying to enjoy her lunch alone. Always double check the bill, they tend to try & be sneaky aboutcertain charges or prices but when you try to dispute them or ask a question about your own bill they?re the first ones to getdefensive, make up some excuse, or lie. I have personally seen this so I know I?m not the only one. My mother and I used to beregulars, we would have our mother daughter dates here but they have completely ruined that for us. I used to go on Saturday nights because of the music and the drinks, but then the drinks went up and the music got so bad. There... should be a variety of music but they stick to Vallenato and Salsa, and it gets boring after a while? and the drink, it got soexpensive for one cup full of ice and juice with barely any alcohol. Not to mention that the dance floor is sooo full. Theyshould start taking reservations because it is so full it?s impossible to dance. Last time, I kept bumping into everyone becauseit was SO crowded and people give you bad looks because they think you are bumping into them for no reason whatsoever. Also, onething that happened when I went once in a group was that they charged us for something we didn?t even drink, a cubetazo, I hopeit was a mistake and that they didn?t think we were too drunk to notice that they had put and extra charge in the bill. Food is so good and nearly everything is perfect. The waiting time to get your food is soo long. About an hour and a half for... just two simple dishes. If it was just a bit faster than could come here often. Read more
I went to this place to get some food for lunch. And the food don?t look good and also don?t taste good ? I also came in the... night to the bar . And they didn?t have enough drinks I just spend 5 minutes inside because it don?t look good? the tables don?thave any style, the place small and full of woman?s working. Bad service, was my first time coming to this place and the place looks nice, but the service very pathetic ???? I order mofongo... (super cold and it didn't taste fresh), I also order salchipapa (French fries cold), the unique thing that was not bad, was themango juice. I had to stand up and walk to the employees and ask when they were gonna take my order, I did that 2 times. I wentwith a big group of people (12 people) and when they were serving the food they were asking for who was the food instead ofknowing the seat numbers, no professional at all. Read more
Drinks were Manhattan expensive but large size and taste made up for it. They tried to bury us with food for the money, great... value. Tasty fresh food for so little money. I will go back again for the food. Read more
Everything on the menu is great, great decor, good music. Nice place to watch soccer games. Cozy bar area. Pros: Great food and... service. I've been several times and never received rude service as others have stated. The Bolón is amazing...The Humitassmooth and cheezy. The steak, cooked and seasoned well. Cons: It's good for families, but not if you have a baby. There are NOCHANGING TABLES. I had to hold my son in the air while my wife changed him. Not a great experience. The upstairs bathroom ishuge, so please install a changing table! Read more
