SO GOOD. Cafeteria style seating, which I think is so efficient. No waiter to hover over. You order and wait for your order to... be ready and take to your seat. You eat. Clean up and leave. Efficient and no hassle. Price is amazing, but it's not a majorportion, but the flavor is amazing with the chili oil and Mala spice. The tangy numbness of the spice works so well in thecucumber, though I think the cucumber bite size is too large. But so satisfyingly crunchy and refreshing. The noodles were sogood and chewy. The thick hand pulled noodles were addictive and mouth watering in the meat and oil sause. I think you shouldtry one with and one without soup. Both equally yummy. The buger was aromatic and delicious as well. The cumin lamb was notgamey. It was chewy flavorful and addictive as well. I dipped the bun in the sauce of the noodle, and I was in heaven. Evenafter we finished everything, we kept the sauce to bring home and add more noodles ourselves. Unfortunately, all the dumplingswere sold out and beef burgers. We are definitely coming back for them. Read more

As a non-Chinese, I guess it is a great place to try different kinds of Chinese food that normal Chinese restaurants do not... have. But even with default spicy, it was too spicy for me. Probably will go for less spicy option the next time Read more

If you know this place, you know this place. Easy to order, tasty food, mild to really spicy, meat and veggies. Affordable and... very tasty. There are multiple locations across the city and this location in LIC has two floors (first floor is open all thetime, the second floor sometimes) so it can accommodate a mid size group of people. Perfect for lunch or dinner. The drink menuis small with few options (coke, tea or water) but the food menu is way more interesting. I would recommend this place to anyonelooking for the Chinese cuisine flavor without having to go to a formal Chinese bigger restaurant or a 'cheaper' americanizedChinese restaurant. Spicy ???? food lovers beware the spicy level is not really that spicy. Generally a clean place. Read more

Xian Famous Foods is delicious and authentic Chinese food. This is not General Tso?s chicken or anything like that. They know... what they?re good at and they stick to it. It?s also spicy so be prepared. They do have less spicy options but they want to keepit authentic for the diners. We got the Lamb burger, the Lamb noodles, and the Lamb dumplings. Everything was delicious! We goteverything for around $30 and it came out so quickly. At first I was wondering if it would be Lamb overkill but not at all!Everything was so delicious and different. We are definitely going to go back and recommend it if you haven?t tried it. Read more

Very good food. We tried the hand pulled noodles with lamb, the lamb dumpling and the spicy cucumber salad. The cucumber was... really good definitely recommend it. The noodles and dumplings were good too. It all came to 31 dollars. You can order in therestaurant and pick it up in just a few minutes my order took 5-6 min to get ready. The packaging is solid, you just have toremember to pick up utensils if you need any they will not put in the takeout bag. Read more

This was the first time I?ve tried this place, and I can just say Wow. The food was SO delicious and flavorful! I got the Spicy... Cumin lamb and hand ripped noodles and Spicy sour pork and cabbage dumplings. I also tasted my friends cucumber salad and Iwould order that as well next time. The portions were large and I had plenty of leftovers for my next meal, and the containerswere perfect to take on the go. I?ll definately be coming back for more! Read more

It was either this or chipotle across the street. I?m glad I came here. This type of Chinese food is northern Chinese food, not... Cantonese or southern style. Which is what most Americans are used to. I got the Mount Qi Pork Hand Ripped Noodles in Soup withmild spice. It was really good. The spice was mild. My mouth wasn?t on fire. The noodles are flat and thick. There was a lot offlavor in the soup. You can see the spices in my after photo. A cabbage was also thrown in here and there. The pork belly wasfatty and delicious. The total was $13.75. It is worth a try. Read more

Came here to get lunch to go and I got the #NS1 Spicy Cumin Lamb Hand-ripped Noodles in Soup (regular Spicy level) for $13... (including tax) and it was delicious. You can also watch them make your dish in the kitchen through the viewing window which isa nice touch. There was a decent amount of lamb in the bowl (although I would have preferred a bit more) and there was a lot oflong flat hand-pulled noodles along with a piece of cabbage on the bottom and a small amount of vegetables floating around inthe soup. The food is made relatively quickly. You can eat in and sit at the limited number of seats available on the firstfloor (the second floor was closed off when I went) or get it to-go which I did. I definitely recommend checking out this spotif you?re in the neighborhood and like spicy noodle dishes. Read more
