Very friendly waiters and waitresses very well pleased on how they handled the food ordering process, just the restaurant itself... needs to add more waiters or waitresses to make the flow of the customers go a little bit faster. The food was excellent andnothing to complain about from me. The restaurant itself is old fashioned and reminds me of a old fashioned style restaurantfrom the dining experience and to the description of the building itself as well! I highly recommend checking this out if youhaven't been there already!!! They don't disappoint. Read more

I grew up not far from quincy and went to college in quincy and worked at blessing hospital in the early 80's. Maid rite was one... of my favorite places back then and I make it a must stop whenever I am back there. I was in the area for my daughter's weddingand told her I had to get a maid rite while I was there. The food and the place is the same as it was back then and the staffis awesome! Nostalgia, great food, and if they have it the coconut cream pie is the best! I've traveled the country but stilllove a maid rite! Read more

This is a must stop for anyone who wants a nostalgic memory from, in my husband?s case, growing up in or near Quincy in the... 1960s and 1970s. The strip pork tenderloin sandwich is just as good as remembered as well as the fried sides (we had friedmushrooms and fried green beans). My husband?s favorite are the super cheeserites but, for the true experience, order them?wet?. If not, the default is ?dry? and while the crumbled hamburger and onions are okay, it is not as good as the wetsandwiches served and loved for decades. While called a ?healthy choice?, one doesn?t eat at a restaurant that has been theresince the late 1920s for your health. The pie is never a bad choice either. Read more

Wow. Great Local mom and pops diner atmosphere. My first time and it was AWESOME! Better than any franchise and some of the... best diner food I have had in a long time. Many food options, this is only a couple. Read more

We had not been in here for a long time. Drove by today around 5 and they were open so we went in and were very disappointed.... The maid rite was extremely salty and the mushrooms were grease soaked and cold. I did enjoy my vanilla Pepsi. Every time wecame to Quincy to visit it was our 1st stop. My husband grew up here and it was always one of his favorite restaurants, we movedback almost 3 years ago and it just has not been so good. Read more

One of the last surviving Maid Rites. Old school and ain't changing. Order your the way you like and bring cash or use the ATM... on site. I did say old school! Get here as early as you can for lunch or you will have a bit of a wait. Dine in ordering attables or go to the counter to place your order up to you. Definitely going back. Read more

Maid-Rite, but not for this crowd. I had no problem with the sandwich, but the rest of my family were not big fans. Apparently... this is a very local sandwich (the loose meat sandwich) and not something they loved. I found it to be akin to meatloaf on abun. They make great root beer in house. Read more
