I was very unimpressed. The food took forever to come out. They were out of a lot of the pies very early into dinner service.... And to top it all off the prices were outrageous. We wouldn't have gotten dessert because dinner was so very high except that wewere trying to celebrate a little bit. I really wish we hadn't once we got the bill though. Read more
Went for dinner and there were only 5 other tables occupied. Still took over an hour to get our meals, and they came out cold. ... My wife ordered the pot roast and requested gravy on the side?it came out covered in sauce. I mentioned the mistake and theserver replied ?sorry? and slid it in front of my wife anyway. As a former server I would have taken it back immediately andhad the kitchen correct the mistake. No such offer here. My daughter needed a to-go box and we waited forever for our serverto come by and she never did. So we found a stack of boxes on a shelf nearby and grabbed our own. Glanced into the kitchen andfound the wait staff all on their phones chatting away. Customer service at its finest. We will never eat here again. Read more
I ate here with a large party a few days ago, and everything was great! I ordered the chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes... and green beans. All of my food was delicious. Our server did really well, especially considering that there were a lot of us totake care of. I'd recommend eating at Village! Read more
Went there with a few friends for lunch today and I must say, I was really impressed. My friend made a reservation for four (4)... ahead of time, and we were able to get a table in less than 5 minutes, despite walk-in customer wait time of close to 20minutes. They were much busier than normal. We took a bit to make a decision as to what to order, but the drinks were deliveredfast and as requested. The food took a bit to get prepared (just like in any sit down restaurant). The ambiance is a mix oftraditional old school and modern decorations with amazing lighting. Once we got our food, I was definitely amazed at how tastyand delicious everything was. I guess everything tastes better when you're starving ???? Anyways, when we were done, ourwaitress was very kind and accomodating. We will definitely go back there again. Read more
