Had another fantastic dinner at Townshend this week. The fall menu is fantastic with lots of fresh pasta options and a great... wine selection. Really appreciate the vegetarian options. Our server, Deb, continues to offer top notch service. 5 stars forthis hidden gem! Read more

From greeting to departure we felt at home. The service was incredible and it matched the well balanced cocktails and quality... food. The music was nice, the location is odd but still enjoyable. The other patrons were as young as 4 and possibly 20 timesthat.... Small but well rounded menu which is executed perfectly. Wine, wine and more wine to please every taste. And oh, theknowledgeable staff is down to earth and gracious with people like me who mispronounced everything. A true gem in the heart ofQuincy's granite and concrete soul. Read more

Finally! Really really curated food in Quincy that’s not small plates and overpriced. We got the burger and fries. This is THE... burger in fries not just for Quincy but honestly- MA. I have not had a better one to memory. The beef was so fresh and thecondiments were absolutely perfect in their quality and amount. The fries were to die for with ample amounts of fresh andfragrant rosemary with perfect touches of quality sea salt. I honestly cannot wait to order from Here again. Also, this wastakeout for us and was better than any sit down place in the area when it’s served and eaten immediately. Tip of the cap, chefs and staff!! Read more

I’ve been to The Townshend in Quincy about 4 times now. As a local, it’s great to have a consistently good restaurant to... visit. I love that you can sit inside or out, and both offer great atmosphere. The menu is on the small side and changesfrequently to what’s in season. All their cocktails, appetizers, and entrees I’ve tried have been fresh and incredibletasting. The staff is super friendly and for the most part you can walk right in and get a table without needing a reservation. The only reason for 4/5 stars is the wait time to receive cocktails and entrees. On my last two visits it took at least 30minutes to get our cocktails and another 45 minutes to receive our main entrees. At this time there was only one other tableinside the restaurant so it was unclear why the wait, but I will say the outside seating was full which could have caused thedelay. If you have time to spare and can get an outside table on a sunny day, then the delicious food is definitely worth thewait. The food portions are on the smaller side and slightly pricey, but the overall quality, taste, and presentation is aboveand beyond. Read more

We discovered this local gem last summer on their outdoor patio and love coming back! The pastas are made in house and although... there isn’t a printed children’s menu, they can make any of the favorites from butter sauce pasta to grilled cheese. All theservers are friendly and efficient. Make sure to make a reservation as it fills up fast! Read more

This place is out of this world amazing. By far THE best mac and cheese I’ve ever had in my life, but every item on their menu... is 10/10. The staff is so friendly and welcoming!! Such a comfy atmosphere, and their drinks are so creative as well. Highlyrecommend! Read more

It was my first time here. I found the decorum really inviting and friendly. It felt warm walking in, and the staff were very... friendly and attentive. We were there for brunch, so we tried some of our personal favorites, and my only issue if I'm beinghonest was that the food tasted a bit under seasoned for my liking. It felt as though they just forgot that part of the wholeprocess on top of it, also being a bit overdone. Everything else, however, from the drinks and ambiance, wonderful. I wouldcheck it out again. First time here and we came for brunch. Couldn’t have been happier. All of the staff were super friendly and the food was... excellent. Probably one of the best fried chicken and waffles I’ve ever had. Great mimosas as well. Highly recommend if yourin the area of downtown Quincy. It’s also located right across from the beautiful Adams Hancock park. Read more
