Not the same food they have always served. We use to go here alot when we lived in this area. Came to visit family and decided... to eat here again. Service was slow, there were only about 3 others tables when we came in. Chips and salsa were ok. Iordered the chimichanga and it had no flavor. My spouse said his meal was ok but not great. People are nice, but need to focus on getting orders correctly done, made the right way, and when something is wrong with the... order, instead of making it over again, they poorly fix it. A little more of having customer service, and not let's do this waybecause we are trying to close... Not cool in so many ways ways.. The food is wonderful if it's made correctly! Buyer beware. I ordered the super nachos and they were some of the worst nachos I have ever consumed. The primary issue was just... the overloading of sausage and vegetables. The beware part is the fact that when they say grilled vegetables, it's not likeother places I have been. It's literally carrots, squash, and broccoli. The menu makes no mention of this fact and if you wereexpecting grilled onions or bell peppers, you will be extremely sorely disappointed. Been going to Jalapeños since 2011. Food,service is always good even when busy. But they were not busy and we had to sit there... for a minute before anybody came over. Hardly seen our waitor. Shouldn't of gave a tip. It might be a while before I go back.?? Read more
Love the sirloin steak fajitas. Tortillas were fresh too. More than enough for dinner! Chips and hot sauce top everything... off. Staff is attentive (even in these crazy times). Margaritas are pretty good and they have a very good selection of otheradult beverages. Like to have draft beer, but the bottles will work :) If you are looking for fancy surrounds you may bedisappointed. This is a small-town Mexican restaurant and it is perfectly fitting for us.
