We stopped by for breakfast during the week. I will say that the breakfast tacos were very good. But our waitress was terrible.... I told her three times what I wanted. She came back with the breakfast tacos for my husband. I had ordered a biscuit withsausage gravy. She only brought the biscuit. We called the manager over and I heard her ask the waitress if I had ordered thesausage gravy. I was not a happy camper over that. They then brought out the sausage gravy and it was ice cold! We told themanager and all she did was tell the cook to check the gravy. She didn?t apologize or offer to make it good. My Husband was notimpressed and was ready to go. When we went to the register to pay the lady informed us that they were only taking cash. Shesaid the system was down. We lost our patience by then. She proceeded to tell us that she could charge it as soon as the systemwas back up. It was not charged till the next day. I actually expected the manager to only charge us the tacos but she chargedthe whole amount. We will not be going there again. They lost our business. Read more
Yeah the waitress we had was MUCH less than professional.. and I kid you not the tomato bisque soup could best be described as a... bowl full of red liquid salt.. absolutely unreal.. at today's restaurant prices until this place makes several criticalimprovements it most definitely is NOT worth the time and or expense.. this is especially upsetting for me as I am a Quinlanderand until their problems are addressed I will continue to give this place a wide berth. Visited on a Saturday morning around 10:30. It wasn't busy. Maybe 2 families in. The waitstaff seemed absolutely miserable.... Maybe forced to work there? I asked for eggs basted and was scowled at and told they don't know what that is and they only haveeggs "over easy, medium or hard". I opted for a BLT instead and we asked for all bacon to be burnt crispy. Didn't happen. Wealso ordered extra bacon and it was forgotten so we had to ask again. Coke is by the can here, no fountain. Pancakes are verythick and cake like. Pretty good flavor. The bread on the BLT was also good. I'm not a fan of the service and the food wasokay. Nothing to write home about. Read more
Absolutely amazing experience. Had an excellent staff and a very experienced cook. Meals came out perfectly across all 4 orders.... Waitresses had an excellent sense of humor while still maintaining professionalism. Pricing was extremely fair and is anabsolute must stop if your looking for the true diner/Cafe experience. I used to go to the Greenville location and loved it. But I won?t go back to the Quinlan location again. Its dirty, cobwebs and... dead bugs everywhere, the staff made us feel like we were inconveniencing them by coming in (they weren?t busy and it was 11:00am on a Saturday) the waitress had a bad attitude from the moment she walked up to get our drinks after about 10 minutes of ussitting there and everyone walking past, she brought us 2 silverware rolls for 5 people, she brought us our drinks half way fulland all sodas flat, didn?t come back until she brought our food, even though we sat here with empty cups and she looked at usmultiple times, food was brought messed up, finally after we were all almost done I had to ask her to refill drinks. Allwaitresses were more worried about talking and standing around laughing then doing what they are there to do. Not a good firstand last experience here. We will continue Driving a couple more miles down the road and go to Burgers and Fries. Read more
Our breakfasts were amazing. We had the Mamas breakfast and the Eggs Benedict. We also got a Lemon Custard Pie. Thank you all... for the awesome service and the delicious food!!! We?ll be back for sure. Read more
The food was good but the waitress and owner/manager were both extremely rude when the waitress put in the wrong order for my... husband. When it was brought to their attention they couldn?t have handled it any worse! Waitress still wanted to charge us forthe extra food that he told her he didn?t order as soon as it was brought out and he didn?t even touch. Asked to speak withmanager and when she came over we told her the issue, she literally said nothing when we told her the issue, no apology oranything, just cleared the table hastily I guess to make sure he didn?t eat what he didn?t order, idk, then came back with thecheck that had what we actually ordered. It was literally a $2 difference in the charge, that?s nothing to lose customers overbut that?s exactly what they did. Will not be returning to eat here again which is very disappointing because the food was greatand a super cute little diner. Read more
