So, to begin with, the online information is incorrect. The menu posted is an old one-false information. There aren?t any gluten... free options-as stated on the posted menu. The server (aka the Princess) was very disorganized, we had to ask for water, no icefor our drinks?.it was very hot out. After we discussed any gluten options, I asked to not have any bread products put on myplate?..guess what was stuck right in the middle of my plate?..a dinner role! ???? We waited at least an hour for our food andwouldn?t have been any more than 12 other guests. 3 out of the 4 guests at our table?.food was just ok (Princess didn?t know thedifference between pork chops & meatloaf-couldn?t remember who had what). My potatoes were not hot. The 4 th person at our tablegot his plate 15 minutes later?.only to find it COLD?.couldn?t eat it. Princess neglected to come back & check on us. We had togo find another person at the bar to get our bills to pay. No one asked how our food was. No one was friendly?.oops, except thePrincess. She was just annoying! Seriously, if she?s going stay in this job, she needs a bit more training!!! The table we wereseated at had crumbs on it so I?m not sure she knows how to do that. The washroom was dirty and garbage on the floor because togarbage can was over flowing????. We had the misfortune of choosing this place to go for a bite. After waiting far too long for the person (not quite a waitress... and surely not a server) to take a drink order (30 mins. or so) she finally took our meal order. Again we waited another 30mins. or so for the food to arrive. My three companions got their meals in a mixed up fashion as she didn't quite know thedifference between meat loaf and pork chops. I got to watch them eat their meal and mine finally came, cold. Not lukewarm, COLD.After one bite I slid that plate aside which is usually a good indicator that there might just be a problem. She breezed usseveral times not looking sideways. After a time I decided enough was enough and had to go hunt down a bill so I could leave.A&W was my saviour. Now the only reason we ended up in this place was my sister needing a gluten free menu, which was on themenu but was not an option because they decided to not provide this but admitted that they need to update their info. FAIL. Theservers were less than professional. FAIL. The food was less than mediocre. FAIL. So after all this I cannot give a ratingbecause there is no rating below the 5 Star. So I cannot recommend this place. By the way my sister called the person attemptingto serve us "the Princess" while I had another label in mind. They get a one star rating under protest as this site won't let meleave it out. Should be one star minus minus minus. Read more
This place is definitely a hidden gem. My wife and I went there for lunch today and we both loved it. The staff were very... attentive and pleasant. Our waiter was Cody. Very nice young man. I had the Philly steak sandwich and a wonderful caesar salad.It was real steak cut up. Excellent. They have a beautiful upper deck. Unfortunately it was raining today. The prices are great.Looking forward to returning and have a breakfast and a dinner as well. I would highly recommend this restaurant. Well doneamici. Thanks for a wonderful experience. We had breakfast here on a Sunday, it was lovely and peaceful. The interior decor is really interesting and we enjoyed looking... at it all. Our Breakfast was great, hubby had an omelette and I had Griddle Cakes (brought my leftovers home, there was somuch). Our waitress was friendly and attentive. We look forward to trying dinner there sometime. Read more
My partner and I were so excited to see the menu for Amici online. I have celiac and am vegetarian, it can be very difficult to... find the simplest things. They had gluten free bread, wraps, fries, even pasta and beyond meat. I was SO delighted to finallyfind a place that cared enough to offer these things. We went in to make an order for pickup at 8pm on a Thursday, they told usthe kitchen had closed. Seemed odd to close that early on a Thursday but I've worked in many restaurants and I know if it's slowthey will close, no big deal. We decide to go back on Saturday at 2 pm. I call 4 times on the way there to place the order, noanswer. So my partner goes in and he comes back out with menus and says they don't have anything gluten free anymore. I can seenot have an extremely extensive gluten free menu or changing things but to take away bread? Its just kept in the freezer. Nopasta? You're an Italian restaurant. I know Im the odd one out here and its not the norm to be celiac and vegetarian but itsstill very disappointing. Read more

Was excited to try this patio! We were there for 25 mins before anyone greeted us. No menu or drink. We left at 8 along with... two other tables as we hadn?t gotten our food after an hour and a half waiting. The other table was waiting for 2 1/2 hours.Went to Mexi's downstairs for a lovely but late meal. Along with the other two groups that left. ????????
