Arrived 7 minutes before closing, the baristas did not greet me and seemed upset that I was there. I greeted them & told them I... wasn't staying since I realized they were about to close, just ordering to go. I got the egg salad sandwich (really yummy) andan iced ernest Hemingway, fast, easy order, ready in 2 min. Left a tip & got it to my car to discover they left the espresso outof my drink & put a sleeve on hoping I wouldn't notice . I payed 6 bucks for salted caramel milk. I used to work at a coffeeshop, I get that it's frustrating when you've cleaned everything and someone shows up. But if you don't want to serve people whoare being kind & saying they are aware of your closing hours, then hopefully this review and management will make the baristasunderstand that their job is to serve people coffee until closing, whether or not they want to. I won't be back. Read more

I?ve been here twice in the late morning while passing through Quitman. I had the cafe breva and chai tea latte and both were... good. However, it?s the atmosphere that makes it great?cozy and friendly, not your typical chain coffee shop. This morning, 3ladies were playing instruments in the front ????. Highly recommend to have a drink while socializing with friends or working onyour laptop. Read more

My granddaughter and I went in for a coffee, Italian soda, and chicken salad. The coffee and food were very good. However, the... girls at the counter were very rude. They both ignored us for almost 10 mins, and never even spoke. They finally took our order. This was a Weds afternoon around 2 o'clock, and they were not very busy. The girl in the back who brought out the sandwich wasvery nice, however. You are encouraged to choose a tip before you receive your food or coffee much less know if it's correct. Iwas very disappointed in the people for such a cool place. Read more

The mocha latte was perfect. I also had a slice of marble cake which was small but good. I recommend for others to try this... coffeeshop. Read more

One if the only true coffee shops in the area, but it does the job fairly well. The location has a nice quiet vibe with great... lighting. The drinks are a little pricey for what you get, but still worthwhile, albeit somewhat inconsistent on multiplevisits. A good study or conversation spot. Edit: Drip coffee here is really underexposed and comes out sour each time. For me,it became hard to ignore. Read more

Cute, cute, CUTE! There are cozy sitting areas where you can enjoy your coffee and chat with friends. They have live music every... Saturday evening from 6-9! They had a wedding reception the evening we went so it was a little crowded but no problem; my hubbyand I were able to find a place to hangout while we listened to music and sipped on delicious coffee. Omg, it tasted amazing! You can also get pastries, salad, fruit and other food options. The women working the counter were friendly and patient as wemade our selection. The busy evening didn't seem to phase them at all. Who needs a Starbucks when you have SpeakeasyCoffeehouse!?! This is WAY better than a Starbucks. We look forward to returning soon.
