I was home mid-day on a weekday, got a craving and Googled "Best Hamburger near me". This place popped up, so I jumped on the... Motorcycle and zipped down the road (it wasn't close, but it isn't far either, so... good ride). I didn't know where the placewas exactly, but, that's what motorcycle rides are for. When I pulled up, I did a "Oh, that place". It's totally unfair to thecurrent owners, but the previous owners had a mixed reputation. This place has been here for a "long" time (under the previousowners) and if you've been around, you've heard of the place. I've lived in the area for 25 years and always though I shouldtry the place, but it never was convenient enough for me to swing in. The gal at the counter was very friendly and helpful (+1Up!). No issues there. Walking in, obviously I was going to get the hamburger (because Google reviews said so), so I did thehamburger-fries-drink thing. She talked me into bacon and a large lemonade ($16.50 total), which were fine with me. The galwas friendly and she told me she'd bring it out. I sat down, and it was about 3 minutes and the food came out. The fries werepiping hot, the hamburger was freshly made, and the lemonade did look freshly squeezed (a tad sweet for my taste, but it didtaste good). As a burger place, very respectable, maybe a tad bit on the high side for a burger basket with a drink, but Ihaven't gotten used to the inflation yet, I'll chalk it up to that. The only problem I had with the place is "The Best Burgerin Racine" review (which isn't the restaurant's fault). I would not be surprised if this was the best hamburger in Racine, but,that's not setting the bar very high. The hamburger gives off very Wendy's vibes. A very good Wendy's hamburger, but a Wendy'shamburger none the less. It wouldn't be the best hamburger in Milwaukee or Kenosha, but, it wouldn't surprise me for Racine. Not happy. The malt tasted weird and really bad I threw it away. no malt in the malt at all it was just a shake that tasted off.... They didn't bring me my meal as a whole. So, I had to wait to get the other half and when I asked about it she was rude about itand said, "it's busy" literally one other person in the whole place and drive through. Like i'm blind. The mushrooms on theburger were terrible ooze and gross. I'm really upset. the fries were nothing special. and the presentation was nice. Maggie gives the best customer service. I think that she needs a raise or possibly go on salary. She's always smiling and it... makes my experience there wonderful. She is awesome sauce. I've been looking to try this place out for a while now, since The Farm is no longer around. I wanted to see if it was any good... so today I went and tried it with my dad. I got the Mac and Cheese burger and my dad got the Regular Cheeseburger. The foodsmelt really good at first but when trying it, it was a different story. The burger was bland, as if it were warmed up in amicrowave. The bacon on the burger was like the bacon you would get on a salad, bacon bits. There was no mayo, or any sort ofsauce on our burgers to make up for the mediocre patty so I added ketchup. 20 minutes after eating my stomach hurt a lot. Nowconsidering that this is fast food, it doesn't have to be fast. You can take the time to make it fresh and taste good. All inall, I wouldn't recommend coming here, theres better places to eat at. Just had some ice cream here and I can say it was just alright. In my opinion the ice cream is nothing special, and does not... taste like custard. The cones are also a bit small and have a cinnamon taste which is something I did not like. Overall it wasjust okay. Read more
They have the best Mushroom Swiss Burger! Also, there is this weirdly shaped thing called "sidewinders", absolute... masterpiece. Their cheese curds are really good as well. The lady is extremely friendly and welcoming. This is the place Ivisit whenever I have a craving for fast foods. Read more
Stopped by here visiting a friend nearby and was very pleasantly surprised! The service was outstanding and the food was great!... Their Blue Moon tasted more like sherbet. I'm assuming that's just their version of it but was still good. Would definitely comeback again! Read more
