As soon as we walked in the restaurant was an oven. Not many customers but the heat was blasting. The server took a while to... come by. Took our drink order but didn't bring cream or sugar. Came back took our food order. Food came out longer thanexpected. Not complete. She didn't ask if we needed condiments and never brought the last pancake order. We asked multipletimes. Server walked out and no one checked on is until we flagged someone down. The assistant manager finished serving us andreceived better service. First and and last time coming to this IHOP. Bad service, mediocre food, and nothing but attitude from the staff. Our first visit here sucked because everything about our... order was wrong and our server refused to use a notepad like a normal person but instead took our order by memory resulting inour entire meal being wrong. Our second and last visit consisted of waiting in the waiting area for 20+ minutes until someonewith an attitude came over and asked ?can I help you with something?? As if us sitting in the waiting area wasn?t obvious enoughwe needed to be seated. Y?all should really do some attitude adjustment with your staff. Read more
This is a restaurant that as a customer I want them to succeed but they keep shooting themselves in the foot. We took our 8 yr.... old grandson for a late breakfast on a Saturday morning. Herman seated and served us. He served us water and took our order.Here's where things went downhill. My meal was the only meal that came out correctly. I ordered a 55+ 2+2+2 it was fine. My wifeordered pumpkin spice pancakes with whipped cream and scrambled eggs. She received regular pancakes without whipped cream. Thescrambled eggs were fine. The replacement pumpkin spice pancakes took forever to come, I had finished my meal. When they didarrive they did come with whipped cream but no butter. My wife slowly ate the pancakes waiting for butter. It arrived when shehad eaten about half the pancakes. My grandson ordered from the kids menu. He also ordered a strawberry lemonade which neverarrived. The manager was going to nearly every table to attend to customer complaints. There was a table of about 8 justadjacent to us. The server brought out the bill just as another server brought out a meal for one of the people in the party.Everyone else has eaten their meal, the bill was printed and delivered for the entire party and she just then got her meal!?!?This restaurant has potential, they just need the right people to staff it. The food was delicious and our waitress was fine. The restaurant was basically empty except for four families sitting in the... area we were in. Unfortunately the manager or owner chose to sit at the table next to us while he belittled and disrespectedhis staff through his domineering and aggressive behavior. Each time we looked over, hoping he would stop, he seemed to do iteven more and speak louder as if though he has a Napoleon complex and wanted attention. The fact that his child and possiblewife were there made or even worse because then he would start cussing and seemed to be showing out. This man also told twoyoung female staff that he loved them and asked if they loved him. He then began to ask one for her phone number several times.One of the young female staff appeared uncomfortable with the situation. He also continously blew his nose and would cough uphis mucus and swallow it. It was disgusting! We called corporate and filled out an online form in hopes of better treatment forstaff at the RACINE location. Unfortunately, I wasn't given a receipt after paying and tipping in cash. Read more
Haven?t been to ihop in a few years. Service at this location was never great, but today was a welcoming change. Servers and... food was great. Was seated quickly and food came quickly. The managers seem to be really caring and take time remember theirregulars. It felt more like a family restaurant vs a chain restaurant. Something Racine has needed for a long time. Read more
The service was great! There was one waitress in the restaurant, Christie. She waited on tables, bused, cleaned, handled the... phone, hostess, and take-out orders. She was amazing and the sole cook was as well. Our food came out hot and for once lookedjust like the pics on the menu. My daughter insisted on going to IHOP for the Minion Menu and she definitely enjoyed it! Read more
we hadn't been to an IHOP in a really long time. Walking in we are very pleasantly surprised, extremely clean well managed, food... was great. our server DJ was wonderful! would definitely recommend! Read more
