1st review Meh, it was ok. Owner responded to let restaurant know if im not satisfied..2nd review- I went back. Food served... cold, fries cold, advised the waiter steak was not cooked correctly.requested medium. Waiter said "maybe the steak was thickeron one side!" Update: Visit 1 - Food was absolute trash. Everything was light, even when asking for extra. Beef tips were so dry. Service was... on point. Thanks A.P. Very disappointing first visit... ever. Visit 2 - same location Again the food was not great. Steak wasway over cooked. We didn't get the "famous" rolls and butter until requested. Again service was awesome. My husband insisted we try Texas Roadhouse for dinner last night. There was a bit of a wait, which is expected for a Friday... evening, but you can call ahead if you would like. The drink menu was great and the margarita I tried was very good. The freshbread was so delicious! Our server was fabulous. He was super friendly and attentive, even when we noticed he was triple sat.The manager stopped at the table to welcome us. The fried pickles were very tasty. The side salads were fresh and full oftoppings. My husbnd really enjoyed the rib and steak combo and I enjoyed I NY Strip. Our steaks were cooked perfectly and verytender. The loaded baked potatoes were delicious with fresh bacon and grated cheese. The kids menu had several options thatincluded steak which made my daughters very happy. I had my 17th birthday there, also my first time eating there and the food was ok. I had a group of maybe 18 and since there's... no reservations that was a bit of a mess but the staff was able to work it out and I think they were very attentive. I got agood amount of food for the price but I honestly think It could have been better. Not enough flavor in the veggies and such, butoverall I would go again and order something new... Me my husband, my sister and her boyfriend came in sat evening to the racine wi location , We had Donavan as a server! He was... absolutely fabulous. He was so bright and cheery ans positive. They were extremely busy, through all that he never forgotanything we asked for and was on top of his game! I haven't had such great service in 35 plus years. Very busy Sunday evening. Wonderful Server, various other staff checking on our needs. A particular country song came on and... staff and patrons did line dancing. What a nice change in the service industry. I know it's tough. Kudos to everyone from my1st call if availability to there farewell as we left. Did I mention that food was excellent too? We got seated quickly, probably because we were only 2 people. We have been there twice and the steaks are delicious! Much... better than other places where they charge more. Their waitstaff have all been outstanding both times, fun, attentive, checkingon us, but not annoyingly so. As soon as we get done eating, we are already planning our next trip. We are from Burlington, sodon't get there as often as we would like.I won't get a steak anywhere else. They have good side options also! Read more
