As I continue to tour all of the Friday fish fry options in Racine my wife and I dined in got the beer battered cod. It comes... with potato pancakes or fries, and coleslaw. My wife got the fries and I got the pancakes. Fries were pretty good, potatopancakes were decent but maybe lacking a little flavor. We also added the baked french onion soup. I loved the flavor of thesoup and the contrast with the cheese. I thought the coleslaw was outstanding. As for the main reason we went, the fish wasgood. It is fairly heavily breaded and both of ours had extra breading that became crunchy around the corners. Depending on whatyou're looking for, some may really like this, my wife did not care for it. Atmosphere was clean and nice, service was verygood. Also, there was delicious fresh bread served right away which I appreciated as well. Prices are pretty reasonable for whatyou get, but there was a small fee on my bill that I'm not sure what it's for. Read more

My husband and I had our wedding dinner at the Summit Restaurant. Worked with Justin to coordinate the event and he was very... accommodating and took the stress out of planning the dinner. On the day of our wedding, Sarah was our waitress and she wasAMAZING!! She made our party of about 25 feel well taken care of. We offered our guests three menu options, Friday fish fry,BBQ Ribs and Parmesan Chicken. Each entree came with soup or salad and bread. The ribs and fish came with a choice of potato. We had two hors devours, tenderloin crostini and bacon wrapped water chestnuts. My husband and I had rib eye steaks. All ofour guests raved about the food and the ribeyes were outstanding. We looked at many venues for our wedding dinner and TheSummit surpassed every expectation. We had a beautiful night and the Summit played a big part in that. Read more

What a disappointment. The modern interior was cool, but the out dated menu did not match the design. The food was terrible.... Both steaks ordered medium and came out well done. They also had a weird grey color to them. The mashed potatoes had noseasoning. For some reason there was rice on my plate, which I did not order or see as part of the dinner, and was so overcooked it was almost see through. The breaded lake perch was 90% breading and tasted awful. The spring roll appetizer tastedlike watery mush on the inside, served with a heaping mound of pre made sweet chili sauce which was overly sweet and hard toeat. They did ?comp us? because of these issues, but the value of what we were comped didn?t even come out to the price of oneof the meals. The 2 good things I will say is our waitress was very kind, professional, and genuinely seemed to care when theseconcerns were brought up. The table bread was also good, glad I was able to fill up on that. Read more

We had our Corporate Diner here. The Diner was very well managed. Food was excellent. Many took home Left overs as they were... large portions. Waitstaff was friendly and readily available to help. I personally had the Parmesan Chicken Bowl and woulddefinitely order again. The New York Strip and Ribs were loved by All. Read more

The ambiance of the restaurant is gorgeous, however the food quality was disappointing. The Lobster Bisque tasted like tomato... soup and lobster was rubbery in texture. French onion soup was slightly better, but again lacked flavor especially the cheese. We had the bacon wrapped filets where bacon was under cooked resulting in bacon being rubbery. Ordered steaks medium rare whichthere was NO char whatsoever on the outside made it seem like it was almost baked. The shrimp appetizer was the only thing whichwe loved & had great flavor. We decided not to complain since it was my Moms birthday and I didn?t want to make her day feelless special. For the price you pay the food was an embarrassment where we will just simply not return. The moment you step inside the doors , you?re greeted warmly. The atmosphere is fresh and funky and so gorgeous. We started off... with the apple pie old fashioned seasonal drinks which got better with every sip. We tried the jalapeño steak wonton appetizerwhich was superb. Rich and creamy with tender bites of steak tucked in a delicate crust. We had the sweetest server, Jay whowas so kind. We had a slight hiccup with our order and it was fixed above and beyond. They bring you fresh bread and a crackerassortment which was so warm and tasty. I tried the steak tacos, while my husband tried the best steak sandwich. Both were themost incredible meals. Highly impressed with every detail of each meal. I had to try the French onion soup and it did notdisappoint. Rich and full of flavor. Overall probably one of the best meals I?ve had in a long time. We aren?t from the areabut will absolutely be returning. Read more
