We stumbled upon this hidden jewel while looking for a place to have breakfasts. The place is tiny so don't worry if you have... to seat at the bar. Everything my family and i had was great. All the way from the portion to the different flavors. We hadthe Taylor Ham (pork roll) egg and cheese in a Texas style french toast and another breakfast platter which had all differenttypes of meats plus eggs and a short stack of pancakes (which were good) Instead of regular coffee try their iced coffee. The place itself is very 50s vibes. The have the bar stools and booths to sit on. They also have outside seating - for the... precautions. I got the speacial of the day which was nyc burger which contained the patty , cheese , onions with bbq. The otherplate was sausage omelette w cheese and peppers with the side of toast and some fries. Both dishes were so good and definitely agood place to have brunch. Checked this spot out this Morning! The owner Anthony was welcoming & was very honest that he was short staffed and it would be... a longer then usual wait for food. My boyfriend and I decided to have our coffee and stay being he is a local and we are tryingall the Rahway Gems out! We loved the ambience of the place that old school diner feel. The staff was friendly and we wereunderstanding of the wait which went by fast because we conversed with the owners who were were genuine good people. Food cameand we got quiet because we really enjoyed it haha. Good coffee French toast is delicious my veggie omelette and home frieswere on point! Had to try the French fries which were good too. We decided to go for breakfast in the newly reopened Rahway grill. I absolutely love the way how it looks. A small old style... place with very friendly people and good food. The Rahway Grill is a little gem of a diner! My bf and I came here on a whim as we were walking by and decided to get breakfast.... I ordered 2eggs with bacon and toast with a side of pumpkin pancakes, and my bf ordered an omelet with breakfast potatoes. Theintimacy of the diner was perfect. Our server was excellent.
