We stopped here on the way to Durham for a quick bite. Staff is friendly and though the place was very busy we got our food... within 5 minutes of ordering. Soo goooood!! I ordered the whole chicken that comes with two large sides. I got white rice and tostones. The offer to even cut... up the chicken for you in 4 pieces or 8. The chicken is so juicy!! It really is so delicious. Meal comes with some delicioussauces as well and they are not stingy on the amount. You must give it a try! Some of the most flavorful chicken I've ever had. Wonderful smokey flavor with something else I couldn't quite pinpoint. Beans... and rice were perfect and not dry. Yucca fries are superior to french fries so try them! Also had the best plantains here! It's very clean inside and the staff is so kind. English is not the first language for some of the staff so be patient and lookfor a manager if you are confused. Alpaca is always hopping with dine in and carry out orders. The food is fresh and flavorful. The restaurant is clean and the... staff are really nice. Tonight we had the Taco Tuesday special which were 3 chicken tacos on corn tortillas- and everyone lovedtheirs. My husband and son always get the chicken and 2 sides.
