This was my first time getting takeout at Azitra after eating here in person a few times before. We got the lamb vindaloo and... butter chicken. It was very definitely not worth it when I could get the same meal at a cheaper restaurant. Wow! Went out of my way to come for lunch. Glad I did! I ordered a dish I have never tried. Was surprised that it was a... creamy dish with no cumin, coriander or spice hitting my palate. The waiter came out, checked on me, then took my plate andfixed me up!! So delicious. The atmosphere is great and the service even better. If you haven’t come here, do it…do itnow. Came back for my second visit during restaurant week and loved the experience. They have some of the best Indian food I have... ever tasted and i have yet to try a dish of theirs that I didn't like. The wait staff were attentive, the ambiance is welcoming,the desert presentation was stunning and I love their cocktails. Definitely a go-to spot for enjoying the entire diningexperience. Read more

My wife and I have been here several times and just love Azitra. The service is always wonderful and the atmosphere is quiet so... you can talk without being a library. The wine list is one of the best in Raleigh. It’s a hidden gem I recommend you stop by.It’s crazy that it’s in a shopping center but I am not lying that it’s a great date dinner location. The other amazingthing is that the bar in the back is set up with large TVs and extremely comfortable. I’m looking forward to coming here towatch future sports games. Read more

We ordered paneer sashlik, paneer tikka masala, garlic naan. The sashlik was totally undercooked with raw veggies and yogurt... marinade still on the paneer. There was no taste or flavor. The naan portion was half of what you typically get in Indianrestaurants and it tasted like frozen naan. Considering the overpriced menu and unpalatable food we feel cheated.
