This place used to be great, but now it?s awful. You can even tell from how there is no owner response to negative reviews... anymore. It seems like with Mr. Barry gone, the spark is gone too. We went here a while ago and had an awful experience. My $14chicken sandwich was a thin, rubbery, unseasoned puck stuck on two pieces of stale crumbly bread. My partner?s meal wasbasically a ball of grease. When we arrived no one greeted us or told us where to sit. I can?t help feeling like it?s due inpart to us being an interracial couple, especially since other reviews mention how unsafe POC have felt here. Save your moneyand go elsewhere, even for a good cause it?s not worth it. This was the most disappointing $30 I?ve ever spent on diner food. Read more

Had a really nice meal at Barry?s! I?d never been before or heard of it, just stopped by on a whim. My server was very kind and... attentive, the food and coffee was pretty tasty and the prices were fair. Read more

The food is excellent and the line cooks are awesome. Been there twice and had horrible service. These girls seem too young to... even do basic tasks like take a simple order. Also waited over half an hour for a simple cheeseburger and a salad. That poorgirl messed up a simple order. Didn?t get the bacon i asked for. Was confused about a salad that?s on the menu?.. ITS ON THEMENU. COURTNEY, if you can?t figure out how to take an order, you?re not going to useful in any kind of way. Not even as a paperpushing middleman for someone else. Just basic function. Amazing service, great food, fantastic cause! Barry's Cafe was created by Barry Doyle in 1992 as a place to support his... firefighter friends, and to make every customer have a better day. This is still true today! Barry's shows their support withauthentic firefighter decor, patches from patrons, and a charity that provides food for firefighters and other emergencypersonnel. Our group tried this restaurant for the first time on a whim, and everyone (from picking eaters, children, andgluten-free diners) had a fabulous meal! Good nearby parking, and while they were busy, they still made room for our group ofseven so we didn't have to wait! They even had a children's game placemat for the little one in our group! We will alldefinitely be back! Read more

What a gem! I loved everything about this place from the firefighter decor to the gluten-free pancakes with pecans! We came here... because we were in the area and needed a late breakfast. I googled "gluten free pancakes" and found Berry's. The prices are alittle on the high side for breakfast, but the food was cooked quickly and it was delicious. Getting to have a completegluten-free breakfast with real pancakes was a treat. They even put the gf pancakes on a red plate to let you know they were gf.The coffee was standard, but good. My husband enjoyed the bacon egg and cheese biscuit. I also loved the fact they had genderneutral/gender inclusive single stall restrooms. Because why should going to the bathroom be a big deal for anybody? The seatingwas somewhat social distanced and some staff members were wearing masks. We would definitely come again! Read more
