Cute place with a relaxed, down to earth vibe. The staff is friendly and service was great. My husband had the chicken and... waffle which was served with delicious honey syrup. What I originally wanted was sold out for the night so I decided to try thepork shoulder meatloaf. I am so glad I got this instead and was obsessed! I loved the potato skin chunks in the mashed potatoes,the meatloaf had an incredible taste and soft texture. The onion gravy was perfect! The fried chicken waffle was decent. Waffle was crisp, and chicken breast was delicious and tender. If you plan to go there on... the weekends for brunch, you should arrive no later than 11:30 am; otherwise, a line will be waiting for you! Read more
Do yourself a favor and come eat at Beasley‘s chicken plus honey! I guarantee there’s absolutely no way you will be... disappointed in this restaurant! Their menu is unlike any you will find anywhere else. They have many unique and deliciousitems. I love the chicken biscuit with honey and the roasted beets– don’t knock it till you tried it! If you’re a fan of Nashville Hot Chicken and it’s familiar burn that leads you to question your life decisions, the Hot... Chicken at Beasley’s may fit the bill. The chicken itself is crispy and moist and the Texas toast holds up well to thesauciness of the sandwich. The hot oil is definitely on that line, if not a bit over, of what’s spicy but not so spicy thatyou can’t enjoy the meal anymore. When I return, I’ll definitely be ordering a side item with the sandwich if for no otherreason than to give my mouth a break from the heat. The iceberg and buttermilk dressing was a bit underwhelming. I think itwould have preferred a cabbage that can stand up to the temperature of the sandwich. The iceberg had that wilted texture onewould find in a Taco Bell meal. The banana pudding was good, nothing life changing. This meal did not disappoint!! I've heard about Beasley's for years, but hadn't had the opportunity to check it out until now.... Wow!!! The food and drinks were amazing! I had the chicken breast and waffle, pimento Mac and cheese, and french fries. Everybits was phenomenal. The server was also fabulous. The restaurant was busy, but they quickly cleared tables and got patronsseated. I am already thinking of when my next visit will be. Read more
Immediate sense of “modern southern comfort” staff is educated on menu and even with a packed house had numerous staff... willing to take an order. I’m impressed! Bar is sufficiently stocked with anything you could want on the norm. Impressedwith the cleanliness! Place is spotless and witnessed regular cleaning, even during busy times. Read more
I ordered their most popular entree here since it was my 1st-time: chicken with waffles (as the chicken breast). The waffle was... the main highlight! It was so airy & crispy at the right spots!! Unfortunately, I was disappointed in the chicken. The amountof meat on the breast was impressive but the chicken didn’t stand out in taste & flavor. A wonderful experience every time! This is a great place to grab lunch or dinner, at a fair price, any time you are visiting... downtown Raleigh. Meredith was our server. She was friendly, fast, and attentive. The only teeny suggestion is to return toindividual menus. It's hard to see everything on the board sometimes. Read more
