Don?t let the interior dissuade you. I was skeptical because $5 for a slice of cheese in a place that looks like an absolute... dump seemed like a set up for a bad experience, but this pizza was the closest thing to true NY/NJ pizza experience I?ve hadsince moving to NC. Many places claim to be NY pizza and fall flat. I was beginning to give up on finding a decent pizza placedown here until I found this place! The slices are HUGE easily the size of your head or 2-3 regular slices of pizza and tasteexactly how you want a greasy slice of pizza to taste. Totally worth it in my opinion. Read more

In town visiting family, daughter wanted to try a new restaurant, so she found Benny Capitale's. We order two 28" pizzas, the... manager came out and said are you sure you want TWO?! We had a coupon, so we said sure. Although very large slices, the pizzawas excellent, plenty to share with friends, family, and take back to Maryland. After returning back to Maryland we had afrozen pizza slice from Dominos in the freezer, thought it would be good to compare a slice. We visit Raleigh 2-3 times a year,we shall return. Read more
Time to update my review, again. Benny's is back to being the Benny's I knew and loved. They no longer require masks, the... tables and overall cleanliness is back and up to par, and the pizza is just a good as ever! And by as good as ever I mean,they're the best slice in Raleigh, hands down. Just a side note, they have been closing early periodically. The hours are untilmidnight, 7 days a week...but I found them to be closed at 9 the other day. So if you're going at night, give them a call inadvance to be sure you're not going to get turned away. The biggest pizza slices around the triangle area! If you?re looking for a large amount of pizza that tastes decent, this is the... place. It?s nothing special but the size is massive and it?s $6 per slice. The inside was pretty run down but the style of pizzawas similar to New York style pizza and definitely cool to try! Read more
