We were in the north hills area looking for a good lunch with seating at a spot outside. Chuy?s to the rescue. They are one of... our favorite Mexican restaurants in the area. Plenty of seating inside and outside with a great people watching section. Theyhave arguably the best salsa and queso. We ordered the fajitas and they are very delicious and a generous portion. Solid Tex-Mex food. Several reviews complain about the atmosphere, but I found it unique and colorful! The inside looks like a... Mexican restaurant met a 50s diner - the music is very much like a diner as well. Our party of seven only had to wait 10-15minutes to get a table on a Friday night. There was another table of 12-15 people in the room we were in and our waitress wasstill very attentive. We received several chip and drink refills without having to ask. The front porch overlooking the lawn looked cool, and was the only reason we came to try this place out. The inside looks very... strange with weird pictures on the walls. The music playing was terrible for the environment and way too loud. The chips andsalsa didn't taste good. Both my wife and I's food was way too salty and not very good for the price we paid. I asked fornapkins and never got any. The service here overall was not very good or professional, and it took a long time to finally getour check. I don't know why we didn't read the reviews beforehand, but nothing about this experience was pleasant and we don'tplan to come back. Read more
