Upon being in downtown on a Saturday. We wanted to go to a quiet restaurant and were interested in sushi. Tucked away in City... Market, we came here. They gave a decent selection of unique rolls. A little too much tempura options for a sushi spot. Theyhave a small amount of seating inside and tend to require reservations. I would not say the best sushi in Raleigh, but it isquite good. Love love love it here ! The sushi is excellent service is great, usually have no problem getting a table either. Love the squid... salad (pictured). Our first time here. Saturday evening celebrating our anniversary. No wait. The service was excellent with amazing... recommendations. The pork belly and edamame apps were incredible! City Market Sushi is delicious. Some of the freshest, best-tasting sushi I have ever had in the Triangle. Our server was... attentive and kind on my most recent visit. The decor and ambiance is nice. Gets busy inside, make a reservation if you can. The only downside for me is that they don't have Lychee Martinis on the menu which are my FAVORITE sweet martini, but I'llgladly forgive them for not knowing to offer my person favorite. ???? One of the best sushi places I have been too and I have tried a few !! They have great fusion options and the service and food... quality is really good.
