Replaced a drink, but charged for two. Food was edible. Service wasn't great.

My wife and I had breakfast here, and it was by far the best part of our stay. I ordered the pancakes, and even though there was... nothing fancy or unique about them, they were probably among the top ten best pancakes I've ever had. The coffee was very goodtoo. We probably won't spend the night here again, but we might come back just for breakfast. Read more

The waitstaff is what makes this place a great place to go. We got great recommendations and they were very attentive. The lake... view is fantastic at sunset. Read more

Food was good. I had a cheddar burger that was cooked to medium like I requested. The steak fries that came with the burger... were also good. Everything was hot and fresh. But what was really outstanding was the service by the bartender Jayona(I got thename off the check so I hope it is correct.) She saw I was uncomfortable where I was sitting and offered to move me further awayfrom the bar into what they call the "library", a business center with comfy couches. She made her job more difficult in orderto accommodate me. She also brought over a damp napkin to get all the burger juice of my hands. Excellent service. Read more

wow. just wow. I'm only here for 3 days of school and this is the hotel that the school was booked for. I decided to stay in and... eat here with a friend for dinner and I'm just speechless. I got the brussel sprouts and my friend got the shrimp as our"Savory" starters and then got the salmon and chicken pesto pasta as our entrees. the glaze on the brussel sprouts wasdelicious. the shrimp had the perfect level of spice where you could enjoy the heat, yet still realize it was shrimp. entreeswere delicious as well. our server talked to us about how she adds her own little spice to the food (mixture of ghost reaperpepper powder and thai chili powder) and brought it out to us to try on our own food and wow it just took it another level.topped it off with a slice of the most AMAZING strawberry cheesecake I have ever had and all I have to say is I'm about to sleeplike a baby. thank you Vonny for being such an amazing server and thank you to the chefs for making some of the most deliciousfood I have ever experienced in my life. I usually don't write reviews, but for the health and safety of anyone who wants to eat here, I thought this was... warranted. Just don't. Not until they get a much needed rehaul of the kitchen and overall management. The 2 servers and 1bartender, bless their hearts, had to take care of 20-30 tables by themselves on a Friday night. NEVER in my life have I seen arestaurant where a server has to take 10 tables on their own; it's just not possible. It leads to poor customer service. Thewait staff did their best and were friendly despite what they were up against, but service was indeed slow. However, I don'tfault them for the experience and they aren't the reason for the rating. My biggest issue was the kitchen, which didn't lookall that busy despite the number of tables. If you can't put an order up all at once, you need to retrain. I watched my shrimpand grits sit in the window for at least 15 minutes. The server, who'd seen it sitting there after several passes during thattime, still brought it to me while my husband's steak sandwich was still being made. When the steak sandwich came out, it waswell done and not rare as stated on the ticket, and included toppings specifically requested to be left off (was able to confirmwith the receipt that the requests had been put in with the ticket, but not followed by the kitchen). Worst plate of shrimp andgrits I've ever eaten in my life - swimming in grease, lukewarm at best, and not served the way the menu advertised. I couldn'tget more than a few bites in before resorting to my husband's fries, by far the best thing we'd been served. Letting food sitthat long in the window, especially seafood, and then serving it well under safe serving temp is how you give your customersfood poisoning. In my hour there, I watched salads get put under the heat lamp and numerous other plates just sit there waitingfor the rest of the order to come up before getting picked up. It's clearly not safe to eat here. To make it worse, Read more

I have been coming here since the hotel first opened. I love the convenience of the restaurant. The food in general is good, not... over the top amazing but solid good. I do notice there is a lot of garlic and pickled onions on dishes. Personally I love themespecially the pickled onion which adds such a nice pop on the breakfast egg ( red and white). The garlicky flavor is not my favon the rice/pico in the roasted chicken dish. Did make me vampire resistant tonight after the dinner. Ha! Happy eating. Read more

A little pricey but very good. Menu ranges from a burger to shrimp and grits or steak. Full bar including nice cocktails like... mules and rotating taps with some beers brewed right here at state. There is a cappuccino machine and some flavorings behind thebar so they do coffee drinks as well. I got the wolf pack burger rare with a side salad, both surprised me. The quality ofingredients is super important when it comes to rare beef and the texture was just butter. Even the salad was really nice withchunks of blue cheese put on top of the dressing. I initially planned on four stars due to price but the food definitely meetsexpectations for this price, a definite surprise for a hotel restaurant. The decor is modern and clean, the porch in back haslots of space and a nice view of the forested side of centennial campus. This place has been a very pleasant surprise. Read more
