We visited our son at NCSU and seen Gumby's online. We decided to give it a try. The pizza was great. The curly fries was very... spicy. The building/dining room wasn't the prettiest, but clean. So we ordered Gumby?s through Grubhub and had a terrible experience. We called in and spoke to the manager Patrick he was so... kind and attentive. He also rectified the situation with his amazing customer service/menu knowledge. He really turned aterrible experience into an amazing experience. God bless him and his team and may he continue to provide his amazing service!???????? I would highly suggest just doing a pick up or delivery by Gumby?s themself verses a third party service. My delivery arrived hot like it had just come out of the oven. My food was delicious and the delivery driver was incredibly kind... and arrived very promptly. Gumby?s is a little pricy, but it?s so good that I don?t even mind. They also run a lot of deals! Read more
Order wasn?t ready on time. Employee said my pickup order was going to be an additional 45min wait for 2 Small Pizzas. Employee... was clearly unhappy with her job when I heard her whisper under her breath ?I don?t get paid enough for this shit?. take this review how you want. five stars to the guy who answers the phone and knows all the sauces. not the most professional... guy but he got the job done and had some personality. 2 stars for the food. over priced and just not good. 4 stars for thedelivery driver. arrived in a timely manner. we know you?re the manager john arnold. recommend if you?re not in a bad mood,you?re not hungry, and wanna spend a lot of money, it may not hit the spot!!! Ordered pizza for NO CONTACT delivery and left detailed instructions on where to drop the pizza as I was working. I even spoke... with a girl on the phone and told her that the pizza had to be given to the security guard at the front door. The driver didn?tread the directions and left with my pizza, it showed up ice cold and wrong!!! I ordered pepperoni with jalapeños and mushroomsand it didn?t have any pepperoni! Had the worst customer service experience with Vicky ?the manager? on duty. She hung up on mewhen I was asking her where my pizza was and if I could get a refund and when I called back she said she was too busy to help meand hung up on me AGAIN! I usually don't do this but this is a 0 STAR RATING! FALSE ADVERTISING online and don't honor deals serviced through google... when clicking the "order" button. They refused to honor my order that I already paid for online and didn't give a care to evenexplain to me why. All they said is they have nothing to do with the third party website and gave me no answer when I asked howcome I've used the same button on Google and gotten my order before and not this time. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE and not worthit for the sub par average food. Employees seemed to not really like their jobs and it showed with their over emotionalreactions and lack of patience for my confusion. I'll be sure to continue to spread the word on this disgusting establishment.I am a fellow business owner down the block on Hillsborough Street and I will NEVER treat my customers this way. The word willbe known to not support such a dump. Many more options for pizza on Hillsborough Street at a better price. Read more
