On our way to airport we stopped for bagels but it was closed so we popped into LA piazza. I ordered cheese steak sandwich and... it was just about the best sandwich I ever had. Hot beef was tender with just the right amount of melted cheese mushrooms. AndI got fried zucchini and it was hot and delicious. The antipasto salad was done beautifully. My favorite Italian restaurant! Best veal cutlet in the county and huge portions! I always take half of it home for another... meal. Our waiter Nick was polite and attentive. Even though the place was packed we were never kept waiting. If you like Italianfood, this is the place to go! Read more
Menu prices don?t match what you are charged when you get there. Sub was $3 more and missing contents in 1/4 of it. Sub also... fell apart immediately from the amount of grease. Also more vegetables than steak. Was suppose to be $2.99 to add onion ringsto a sub, was $5.19, and came with 5 onion rings. I understand inflation but that?s a little ridiculous. Read more
La Piazza came highly recommended. It was our first - and LAST - visit. The food was pretty good - not great, but pretty good.... The service was OK - again, not great. Somewhere they state that menu prices may not be the same as the actual charge Calamariappetizer on the menu $11.95 - on the bill $16.59 - 39% MORE. Salmon LaPiazza on the menu was $18.95 (pretty sure) - on the bill$24.95 - 32% more. Chicken Parmigiana on the menu $16.95 - on the bill $18.71 - a real bargain at just 10% more. A total of morethan $12 over what the menu states. And trust me, the food was definitely not worth an extra 12 bucks. Very disappointing. Read more
Food was very good. Service wasn't too bad. The waitress never brought us any bread but we didn't really need it so we didn't... say anything and I didn't hold it against her when I tipped. If I really wanted it I would have said something. The reason Igave 3 stars was for their menu. The menu in the restaurant and the one that can be downloaded online does not reflect what theyactually charge you. On the menu my entrée was $18.99 what they charged me was $19.75, my friend's entrée was $17.99 but I wascharge $18.71, the chocolate cake I ordered said $5.99 I was charge $9.35. I should have paid closer attention to the bill atthe restaurant rather than after the fact, so that's on me but they need to update their in-restaurant menu. I understand pricesare rising across the board, but to charge me $3 more for a piece of cake and not even mention it is not cool. I would eat atthis restaurant again because I really do like the food, but I will be paying closer attention to the bill. I will note that ifyou go to the order online portion of their website, the prices are reflected as what the actually charge. The only thing Icouldn't verify was the cake as it wasn't on that menu. The person who came into work today and made this pizza DGAF. I almost didn't order it because I had to stand at the desk for... minutes without even being acknowledged. The sauce was delicious but the pizza was very, very greasy. The salad was lettuce,a tomato slice, and two pieces of cucumber. The times when I called in the person on the phone was an absolute jerk. Overallmy experience means I won't go back. The juice isn't worth the squeeze. Read more
I have just got to say that the server my family and I had tonight gave beyond exceptional service, he is such a kind young... gentleman. He even offered to put my leftovers in the to go box for me. I haven?t had a server that kind in so long that I amactually taking the time to leave a review. He deserves a raise! Such a kind man.
