Went a couple weeks ago on a whim and couldn’t be happier. We ordered both flavors of wings and the asparagus to start. Both... were delicious. The asparagus was perfectly savory and salty with yummy crispy shallot on top. Got the pork dumplings andbulgogi dumplings to share and both were distinct and delicious. The service was wonderful. The pork scallion dumplings and the fish tacos were amazing. The bulgolgi dumplings had about 1/3 of... the meat but they were a bit more on the bland side. Absolutely awesome spot. The service and atmosphere were great and the food was delicious. We got multiple orders of dumplings... and Brussels sprouts for appetizers and the Thai basil noodles for a large plate. All of it was incredible. The cocktails werealso great. Just moved to the Raleigh area, have been dying to find my go-to dumpling spot, and I loved MOFU! The beef dumplings pictured... above were delicious and exceeded my expectations. Also really enjoyed the Popcorn Mushroom as a nice appetizer. Completed mymeal with the Fried Rice and a unique cocktail. Everything was well done and supremely satisfying. Will absolutely be back! This brick and mortar restaurant originated from a food truck that was on Food Network's "The Great Food Truck Race". Excellent... food in a very cool, classic space in downtown Raleigh. We had wings, pork belly, dumplings and won tons. Everyone was perfectlyprepared and the flavors of the dishes, and complementary sauces were delicious. We had a friendly server. Yummm! We had the pork and beef dumplings…AMAZING! The Brussels, mushrooms and kimchi tots are also amazing. Service was good... and so were the cocktails. The atmosphere had a good vibe for a weekend dinner out. We went on a Saturday night, give yourselftime to find parking. Read more
Went for New Years Eve with a stunning woman and I was thankful the food was almost able to match. The menu selection had... variety for everyone and did not make vegetarian options were not an after thought. Wait staff was very attentive andknowledgeable as they sampled the menu before the evening service. Decor was modern and warm. Also cocktails were inventive. Read more
I discovered MOFU by taking the “Taste of Raleigh” food tour. The food here is absolutely delicious! My favorite items... include the fish tacos, handmade dumplings, and the wings. I’ve gone here twice (which is I unusual for my partner and I) andeach time the food was great! You can taste the quality of each dish. Their drinks are also delicious. I recommend you try someof their sake. Do yourself a favor and give this gem a try! Read more
