I went on my birthday 10/02 it's a Sunday not busy at all but had the football game on and bartender was grezt.great.. food was... a little slow for being dead but was the best food I have had since moving to Raleigh a month ago so 9 out of ten.. yes give it shot during the week.. They wanted me to pay $30 for a no name reggae dancehall dj, with no more than maybe 7 people inside. The few people who did... pay, left upset, blurting out in the parking lot theyve been ripped off. The security guard shouldve worked remotely fromhome. We went here around 11:45pm paid 20 dollars, which is way over priced, and hardly anyone was in there. We stayed for almost an... hour to see if it would get better but it didn?t. I do not recommend going here unless it?s a free night if that exist or ifyour bringing a party. Read more
The food is just right for a late night. The drinks are as well. Add some hookah and your night is complete.

Heads up that Star Bar was cited/found guilty in October for re-filling liquor bottles. Meaning - you were paying for a... particular brand, but getting something else that they had poured into the bottle. Read more
