Food was terrible. Whole family had stomach ache and flu after eating. And biriyani is like gravy mixed with white basmati, not... even taste like biriyani. I never tasted goat gravy that bad. Read more

First time here and the service was great. The place was very clean and quiet. I got the creamy chicken tikka masala with garlic... naan. The food tasted great and we were served good portions. Definitely will be back to try other dishes. Read more

The food here is divine. One of Raleigh's treasures. I miss the buffet from pre-Covid days. The dine-in atmosphere is cozy and... inviting. I have ordered take-out a few times post-Covid and everything has always been perfect. I especially love the Aloo GobiMasala. Never change, Taj Mahal. Read more

I have to wonder if the ‘Punjabi’ negative reviews are coming from folks related to another nearby Indian restaurant. I’m... Indian too and the food here is excellent. My wife and I have been coming here for many years and one thing remains the same -it’s delicious. It’s very difficult for restaurants to maintain such a good standard over many years but they do it and wereward them with our business. Try them out and see for yourself. Read more

Worst experience ever! We are Punjabi and know how the flavor and food should taste. They charged for onions and green peppers... which is ridiculous as it is complementary any place else. We ordered saag paneer, malai kofta, two parantha, paneer kulcha & 1mango lassi & they gave us rice. Everything listed was inedible. We traveled from Saint George, SC with the anticipation of agood meal. The reviews on here are inaccurate! There so called “Indian Spicy” killed any flavor, was peculiar and notsomething a native would enjoy. The mango lassi was not made properly. I discourage anyone to ever order the malai kofta as itfelt like a made up recipe by the cook… it didn’t look nor taste correct and it tasted burnt, nutty. There was not enoughpaneer in the saag & the meal was so expensive nearly $70 for such garage! I do not recommend it was all wrong so no stars! Read more
