Went here for the first time with our kids on a weeknight when it wasn?t too crazy busy here. All the other times we tried to... come there was a really long wait. I understand why. It is SO GOOD. The little kids meals were adorable and our kids crushedthem. Be warned the free tattoo they give for the kids will not wash off for a minimum of two weeks!, haha! My second visit to this restaurant and I love it!!! Last time I got the burger box with sushi and this time I went with just the... firecracker sushi roll. The slider was too small and the sushi portion is too small on the box. My hubby got a regular burgerand a half sushi roll which is much better option. More expensive but will get you full. Such a great menu variety. Between the burgers and the sushi, they?ve got stuff for pretty much everyone. And the sushi is to... die for. The rolls are unique and smothered in delicious sauces and toppings. The venue is fun and spacious, the Cowfish in thefish tank at the back is adorable, and if you go on your birthday you get a free dessert AND to ring the gong. The staff aresuper friendly and helpful, and the first time we went, the owner came around and gave us coupons! We love the food and theexperience. I am absolutely in love with this place! My experience here was simply amazing! Let's start with location, it's in a popular... area and cow fish has a very nice atmosphere. The cowfish sushi bar is a very unique restaurant. Incredibly they have combined sushi with burgers and created a pretty awesome... menu. The fish is very fresh and the creations are delicious! We enjoy coming here to celebrate special occasions . If you letthe staff know you?re celebrating a birthday you will receive a complimentary huge slice of cake enough to share with the table.The service is always great from all of our past experiences. One very important recommendation would be to download The Cowfishapp and sign up for a table prior to arriving at the restaurant. The food was incredible! I decide to, first time they are, do something simple a burger with sweet potato fries. Although those... are very simple dishes I so commonly see restaurants mess them up. The sweet potato fries were perfect not undercooked notovercooked not over seasons nothing they were perfect. The burger was one of the two best burgers I've had at a restaurant in mylife! The black truffle cheese I would have loved to have tasted more that was on my burger that is why I even ordered itwithout any sauce that normally came with that burger but, I realized that it was meant to be a blending of flavors they allcompliment each other the roasted shallots the sauteed mushrooms the black truffle cheese and the burger itself. I am beyondimpressed with the chef/cooks there. And for a drink I got a hot tea, a peach herbal tea and that was incredible as well notsure where they got the loose leaf blend from but it was very good. On a passing note, the Burger was grilled to perfection aswell. I live 2 hours from the location of this restaurant and was there upon recommendation from a medical professional after asurgical procedure. I have actually contemplated returning to that area strictly for this restaurant as it was that incredible.I recommend this to everyone and yes it is kid friendly with the kids menu as well. Our waitress was absolutely amazing. Very attentive. Our cups never went empty and we didn't have a long wait for food. My... son's burgers were way over cooked and too hard to eat. They did take care of it when we brought it to their attention. Just ashame the kitchen even sent them out like that. The bathrooms were also not the cleanest. I was there from 4-5pm. So at thebeginning of the dinner rush. They have a huge outdoor connect four game and corn hole to help pass the time while waiting fora table. Which is awesome, especially since I had kids with me. Lively, creatively decorated spot. We went for lunch and the crowd was very diverse. Definitely kids friendly for both lunch and... dinner. Great staff, the owner was visible, talkative and charming. The food is unique and flavorful. Portions and large and thedrinks are creative. You have to try the burgushi - quirky (filling, don't be fooled).
