Hands down the best steak I’ve ever had!!! I’ve tried every steak house in RTP. The steak was cooked and seasoned to... perfection. The crust was phenomenal. My salad was average. Vinnie's is hands-down the best steakhouse in Raleigh. The service, food, and ambience are all top notch. It's also one of the... few places I'd trust for work events with important clients and customers--I know the food will always be perfect and I've neverhad a bad experience in the many years I've been coming here. If you're hosting a group event in the back room, Walter is agreat waiter to request. He's always super personable, attentive and makes the best recommendations for new things to try. Mymenu favorites are the ahi tuna appetizer and the twice baked potatoes (get them if they're available!). Overall the menu's bigenough that there's something for everyone. 5/5 stars. Read more
My birthday dinner was amazing! Petite filet, mashed potatoes, and creamy spinach. Plus, free dessert. It was a Tuesday and when... we got there they were not busy. Vinnies is a really great steakhouse. Everyone knows that. Really, everyone does know that! So, here's something people may not... know - the seafood is maybe the best anywhere. The seared tuna is exceptional. Every salad is amazing. How to they find theextraordinary tomatoes for the caprese salad all year? Well, just wanted to give review about Vinnies that features the seafoodand salads. If you're thinking of a great, special event destination, there is really something for everyone. Pescatarians andvegetarians can all enjoy an exceptional meal at Vinnies. Oh, and the onion rings are worth the calories! They are just sogreat. The bar looks amazing too We've done a lot of takeout from Vinnies during the pandemic when we wanted an amazing meal athome. Unlike some restaurant, they carefully and thoughtfully package to go orders in a way that they are presented beautifully. We love Vinnies! Read more
I’ve driven by Vinnie’s many, many times and always wondered about it. Today was finally the day I got to try it, and I was... very impressed. Everything was clean and well taken care of, including the bathroom (which had nice toilet paper, although itwas missing a baby changing station). Our waiter was personable and an excellent photo taker, which is nice to have! The food,though, was really the star of the evening. The crab dip was creamy and crabby, the onion rings were big and juicy with themost delicious batter I’ve ever tasted. The Caesar salad had dressing they mixed in beforehand and the croutons, althoughquite large, were perfectly light and fluffy while still being crispy. The bread was also excellent, with a slightly sweettaste to the exterior. The entrées were delectable. I had the Delmonico ribeye with the smoked Gouda potato gratin and themeat was so perfectly cooked. The waiter asked everyone to cut open their meat at the table to make sure it was at the righttemperature (everyone’s was), which was nice, especially given the one review where the guy complained about his well-donesteak, which he obviously ordered that way. My husband’s salmon was excellent with and without the beurre blanc sauce headded. My father got the prime rib, and it was just as tender as it should be. The au jus that came with it expertlycomplimented it without overpowering it. We got the white chocolate cheesecake and crème brûlée for dessert, which were alsovery tasty. We have been coming here for special occasions or a nice date night for many years. Have also had corporate dinners in the back... rooms. This visit held up to the past, and they are wonderfully consistent in service and quality. I had steak the previous dayso opened for the trout, wife got a filet or ribeye I think. Just wonderful, great service and LOVE the atmosphere. Costs alittle and with a mid range bottle of wine and oyster Rockefeller starter and tip, somewhere in the 200+ range. We felt valued,well attended by our server and just enjoyed ourselves. Read more
Very friendly staff, but the product was a failure. I ordered my steak medium rare and went home with maybe the most overcooked... steak I've ever been served. My wife's salmon was decent, but overall a big disappointment given the $75 tab. Read more
Seriously great experience at Vinnie’s for my Mom’s 63rd birthday. The food was amazing. All of our steaks were cooked to... perfection. The menu selection was great. The service was wonderful. We would absolutely go back. I would say this place is thebest steakhouse in Raleigh. And it’s not even a close competition. Read more
