Winston 's Grille is the place to have a cozy meal with friends, family, or with the one you love ??. The atmosphere is... absolutely wonderful. It's present an elegant atmosphere with various levels of managing guest, meaning small groups or largegroups, inside or outside. It is spectacular. The associates greet you with a warm welcoming smile and the service tablesidewas excellent and speedy. Plenty of seating and the meals were off the hook. I would suggest making a reservation because it'sjust that busy. Seating is based on the number in your group, but if it's for two, and a very special occasion, then be sureto share that note when calling. Window seating is very popular, especially for those love birds. ?????? In our group offive, we had a very good associate and the meal was off the chain. We had appetizers, salads, steak, ribs, French fries, anddessert...Wow that was Excellent! My dessert, Tuxedo Cake was soooooo good, that those in my party just had to taste it. Here'sa secret, the sample display is a good representation. The portion was WoW off the chain!!!! More than I expected. Look, Istopby and see for yourself. But Let's not forget to do some important things first, share a hug, be kind, and call someone andtell them you love them. Pay it Forward while you can. Great atmosphere! Oldies music Barry White, etc Google label’s the Price at “$$” NOT! See the menus photo. I did’t see... anything under $16. I had the special salmon with cream sauce veg. And rice. Very good $18. My wife had the shrimp salad dayspecial. Shrimp was good, but salad dressing was missing spices. Tomato chunks were 1/4 tomato size. The waiters was great. Shespent 3+ minutes describing the day specials. Go for atmosphere not price. Read more
Update: While the food is still good (good, not great this time around), we had a much worse experience when we went back a few... weeks later for a birthday. They sat us in a cramped back room with a huge table of very loud patrons. Our server was nice butshe was totally overwhelmed by all her tables and the huge party she was also tending to. We waited over 30 mins just to giveour order! This is truly unacceptable for such a nice restaurant. Taking off 1 star because I hope our experience was afluke. Original review: Amazing food. I got the salmon special with sticky coconut rice and the salmon was cookedperfectly-fall apart tender. The sauce was savory and sweet and complemented the salmon, rice, and green beans really well.Portions were generous. We also got the gumbo as an appetizer and the sausage was the highlight of that dish. Rack of ribs werefall off the bone. Sauce was on the vinegary side so keep that in mind if you prefer a sweeter sauce. Key lime pie was maybe thebest I’ve ever had. Thick custard, crumbly light crust, and just the right amount of tart. I had: calamari, ribeye, with mashed potatoes & collards, & crème brûlée! I was sure I'd get bananas foster, but I'll have to... the next time! Excellent food & customer care!! Jacob,Brian(t?),Mary(maybe Meredith?),& (I'm so sorry I don't recall her name)ALL did, not only a wonderful job handling the bar & other tables but, made a genuine care for their customers absolutelyapparent! Every single one checked in on me/was overall attentive! This place has some of the most tender calamari I've everhad! Everything was done so well! Flavorful,but not overwhelmingly so! Absolutely the best service, especially with a prettysizeable crowd! I cannot sing their praises enough! The blonde (possibly hostess) was also someone to note for great overallperformance! I was just stopping in from out of town,but I will be sure to come back for the level of service & the foodquality! Read more

HOLY DESSERT! I usually stuff myself with the entree and pass on dessert, but they bring out a tray of delicious looking... desserts and couldn't pass it up glad we didn't. The puff pastry was amazing and I can't wait to go back for more. The ribs andsalmon were very good. Very nice setting inside and the service was great. Will definitely be coming back for more. Great for afamily dinner, date night, or just hungry. One of the best places I've had dinner at in Raleigh. Read more
Celebrated the husbands birthday at Winston's. This was our second time dining in at this restaurant. The food is very good and... plentiful. The dinner rolls will cause you to go off your diet. ???? Our waitress was amazing and made sure all of our requestsand needs were met. I had the cashew crusted salmon and although I do not like cashews the food was top notch delicious. Oneadditional plus is that we originally had reservations set for 6 in the evening but had some free time in the day so called therestaurant to see if they could move us to 4 pm, which they did.
