The food was fine but on the pricey side. The wait staff were attentive though their English was lacking. What I do take issue... was the loud conversation in Chinese between the staff themselves and with some possibly visiting friends. At one point thetalking was so loud between a male and a waitress at the table right beside us that I asked the male to keep it down. He tookoffence and mouthed back at me. I talked to the manager who was apologitic but said it was beyond their control and also blameit on culture, implying Chinese people tend to be loud. Well,this is fine if I were dining at a greasy spoon in China Town butI was paying over $30 for a dish in Casino Rama. If he cannot control a member of the public who was rude he certainly canexercise authority over his own staff and ask them not to yell among themselves in Chinese. All this is not to take away theattentiveness the staff displayed. Just that they have to realize they are working in a higher end restaurant and customers liketo be able to hear themselves think! We were seated and watched other people who came in after us get their food before us. 1st time I had like warm wanton soup. The... noodles were burnt, and the server took his time to bring our food. I barely touched the food as it tasted gross. Never again. Read more
We were very surprised at the quality of the food we had in this restaurant. It was excellent! We had read the reviews on line... that were not very good but my sister wanted to try it anyway. We ordered four dishes and all of them were delicious. I don'tknow what the problem was that made other diners rate the restaurant so low. I will go back again. The restaurant is clean,service was excellent and the food we had was delicious. The location isn't great if you are not in the Casino. But if you goto play or to a show than you should try it. Will never eat at this place again. Very expensive and ordered some chicken balls that where overcooked with little pieces of... chicken that was dry and they where mostly batter. Got charged for 4 spring rolls but only had 2 spring rolls. Save your moneyand go elsewhere to eat!! No I didn't get it reversed. The way they did things was they had 3 couples who weren't togethersitting at the same table and they just put the food on the table and nobody had any idea who's was who's. Will never go back! It was horrible. Ordered multiple items hoping for an enjoyable meal before concert. Server did not speak english with us but... understand what i wanted to order hmmmm.. On January 30/18 we went to Rama and had a fantastic time, after about 6 hours we went for dinner at the Willow restaurant, and... unfortunately it was the worst Chinese food we have ever experienced, both the lemon chicken and General Toa chicken was NOTedible, it was dry any hard with little flavor, in fact we spoke to the manger and he could care less, we only ate a few piecesfrom the plates and returned about 90% of the balance. Service was ok but the food was disgusting. It smelled bad and tasted worse. I couldn?t even swallow the first bite of chicken.... There was bone in my won ton soup. Our bill was just under $70. Read more
