Wow!!! Total hidden gem! Great ambiance, location, easy parking, food selection, and service! They have very well thought out... mixed cocktails. My drink “her majesty” had fresh rose petals and rosemary in it….. delish! The owner stopped by and wastelling us about his recent travels around France and the various wine regions. So much passion in this place. A total must stopby for sure! Out of curiosity we Decided to purchase a $30 wine card that allowed us to go to the wall where we could samplesVarious wines which range from $4 to $15 per pour… It was so cool! This is a wonderful bar & lounge in Ramsey with a boutique wine selection to purchase as a wine store. The bartender Anthony is... one of the best in Bergen County and makes amazing cocktails to compliment the small bites/ tapas menu available. Went just for drinks. 30 plus minutes to get first round of drinks Inside at a table. Female but she didn’t come to our table... for at least 20 minutes. Drinks took forever. So disappointing! My fiancé and I couldn’t wait to check this spot out. We went this past Saturday night after a nice dinner... out, we figured it would be the perfect way to end the night. We got seats at the end of the bar, perfect for a couple lookingto enjoy a drink. We waited and we waited, with no acknowledgement from the bartender, a good ten minutes passed until shefinally looked in our direction to say she’d be with us. I don’t mind waiting, I worked in a restaurant for many years of mylife, however customer service/bar tending 101 is “Hi folks, I’ll be with you shortly.” - it’s just not that hard to do.When we were finally helped, I asked for an Appletini. Which we were told she could not make. Confused? So am I? We then decidedto reluctantly order two espresso martinis. We asked for Baileys and we were told the bar did not carry it, but they did have“a more upscale tastier cream liquor”. Sure. It’s been 15 minutes or more now, there is no music, it stinks of candlesthey light in my yoga class and I just already know this drink isn’t going to be to my liking. The drinks were served and asexpected - horrible. We took two sips, couldn’t stomach them, asked for the check and left $50 dollars in martinis behind tojust get the heck out of there. We were very excited to try this restaurant for our dinner. We decided to try this new place since I found it online. My... friend from Ramsey and Ridgewood joined me. It was a slow quiet night which was fine for fine for us but now I know why and whywe will not be returning customers. Pro: nice wine glasses. Cons: the price is ridiculous for the food and wine. I go to manyother places for wine and apps, dinner etc and don't recall ever feeling so ripped off before. There is a 25 dollar charge toopen their own wine!!! Insane. We were celebrating my friends wedding and bought two bottles. 50 dollars of corking fees fortheir own wine! How absurd and no verbal mention of this just like oh did you want a second bottle. We were horrified anddisappointed. Also the food portions are very very small and again expensive! Never left a restaurant hungry before anddisappointed by the expenses and fees. Read more

This place caught my eye about a week or so ago while I was in town. Finally made it here tonight and I loved everything about... this modern chic eclectic wine bar. Not only are they a wine bar but they also serve exquisite hand crafted cocktails made byknowledgeable mixologists. On their menu they feature small bites that can be ordered to nibble on. I ordered the bar board(which consisted of meats and cheeses as well as mini bread nuts honey and preserves) aka charcuterie board. They have fancymachines that dispense different ounces of unique wines, perfect for tastings or a pour of choice. I did two tastings and onepour as well as a cocktail. Also they have bottles of wine and spirits for purchase to go. I was more than pleased with notonly the board, wine and cocktails but also the atmosphere and the service. Everyone was so friendly and attentive. It was nicemeeting Allen (AL) and Jackie behind the bar. Perfect place for an intimate date night or even a night out with a friend. Read more
