Fai was extremely rude to me because I came ~10 minutes early to pick up our food. She argued with me a bit then immediately... told me to go outside or wait in the car instead of waiting in the restaurant. As a first time customer, I was extremely takenaback about how poorly I was treated for simply arriving early to pick up my order. Please just be kind to all your customers. Thanks! Read more

Some negative reviews were for only their vegetarian dishes and only one visit. That is not a fair assessment of the restaurant.... They do not pretend to be a vegetarian restaurant. I have been going to this resto since it opened and have tried most of theirdishes and it’s high up there in quality and taste. I have never been to Thailand to compare so I can’t be as high fallutinas that reviewer. And if most of his/her reviews of restaurants are negative, maybe s/he doesn’t know what s/he’s aretalking about. Read more

As the AC was in high pitch inside the restaurant, we preferred to sit in the patio at 12.30pm, but for our unfortunate; the... boss or the chief stewardess was reluctant to offer the patio umbrella. This is not a place for vegetarian diners as they do notpossess humble choices. Our high level spicy requested was not honoured. As Tom yum soup was not vegetarian, they recommendedTom Kha soup which is similar to coconut milk shake. It was neither spicy nor taste and simply bland and heavy. Quantity forthe value: please compare the images along with the receipt If you all claim that you have explosive Thai cuisines in the Thairestaurants around USA, you all are cheating yourself. You will realize my statement, the day you walk into Bangkok streetstalls. Thai restaurant operators in the USA have learnt to feed bullcrap in disguise of Thai dishes. Rather than usingauthentic Thai ingredients, they use cheap long lasting western vegetables. I have attached an image of Asian vegetables below.Just compare the vegetables they used to prepare our dishes. They have used Broccoli, beans, carrot, baby corn, red pepper, mushroom and tofu. If they can able to buy lemon grass, galanga in the US Local markets they can all these vegetables in theentire United State as you all know. Their objective is not to cater authentic Thai food, rather yield high price with cheaperingredients. Totally the food was a dog's breakfast for big price Read more

Disappointing experience. Ordered some shrimp Pad Thai and a Thai iced tea. The iced tea had been overbrewed and had a real... bitter note. When the Pad Thai came it was chicken instead of shrimp and I had to send it back. When I finally had the correctorder, I was sorry to find that it wasn't that great, as the flavors were muted and unremarkable. Not sure what happened to thisplace, as it used to be quite good. I had gone to Gao's kitchen with friends from work last week as I am a big fan of the food. We had order 5 entrees and hence we... had to get a side salad/ spring roll as a complimentary item with our meals. When the food arrived the waitress made a mistakeand she got us a salad instead of the spring roll. One of my friend called the manager and indicated that we received a saladinstead of the roll and requested them to provide us a roll as we were missing one. Immediately the manager tool the salad awayfrom my friend who WAS ACTUALLY IN THE MIDDLE OF EATING IT!!!! My friends and I tried to stop the manager form taking the saladaway but he said you cant eat what you dint pay for. Immediately we were like when did we say we wont pay for the extraroll! Anyways long story short, pathetic customer service!! I have never seen anyone taking food from any human being who is inthe middle of eating it. I would have give a -star if I have a choice. Hands down my favorite Thai restaurant. The wait staff is attentive but never overbearing and the food is phenomenal! Our family... favorites are Braised Short Rib Massaman (3rd picture), Thai BBQ Beef, and Gao Salmon. I have eaten here dozens of times andnever been disappointed by a single bite. Read more
