Husband stopped to bring takeout home for lunch end of July. More than half of the onion rings were burnt (to a crisp) but... edible. Both sandwiches were ordered with a side of the 'dip.' (see receipt attached) There was NO dip in our bag orpackages. Husband usually checks before drive away, but being busy with work he figured the dip would be inside the containers,which they were not. Said staff and cleanliness was "Okay I guess." The sandwiches tasted average at best. We are new to thearea, wanted to try something new. We feel we are reasonable and will not be returning customers. A new and throughly enjoyable taste sensation! The baguette sandwich is a crunchy, chewy delicious option. The neat is tasty,... juicy, ...awesome. The French fries are off the chain different and delicious. Light crunchy on the outside, savory inside. Ifyou haven't eaten here, you are missing a fantastic meal. You deserve this....come! My boyfriend and I LOVE this place especially finding it in Covid. Their food is always fresh and hot and packed with flavor. We... especially love their fries and how they?re cooked different. They remind us of the carnival. Crunchy but not too crunchy andnot mushy in the middle either. Better than firehouse subs and Jersey Mike?s in my opinion. You won?t regret trying their food. Saw a video of this place on Good Day Sacramento, and had to try it. Brookfield?s has a good French dip sandwich, but this one... is by far better. The meat was real flavorful, and the au jus tasted great as well. My son even said it?s his favoritesandwich now! Staff was friendly, and even the owners were there on a Sunday morning and asked us if we needed anything. Willdefinitely be back to try the tri tip sandwich next. Read more
Highly disappointed with my experience here. It was my first time trying this place thinking it could be fun. When attempting to... order some of the things that I saw on the Google map page, I was informed they were no longer available. Which is fine, I?mwilling to try something else since I?ve tried nothing here so far, so I ordered the French dip sandwich, the garlic fries, andthe tri-tip salad to share with a friend. My issue is after being serviced by the cashier, (Stephanie per the receipt) I noticeshe walked back to the kitchen, took one glove off to get the bags ready to put the food in. Then proceeded to put the glovethat she wore at the cash register that already looked shiny to the knuckles, back on and went out of sight, then came back intosite, closing the lid for my food and putting it in the bag. This was very confusing to me being that there were two otherpeople there, and the other girl working literally looked like she was just pacing around. I really didn?t know how to respondin the moment so I just of asked if that was all of the staff and maybe they were just understaffed. I decided to just take myloss of $25 and maybe attempt to reheat the sandwich and fries at home to 165° to kill germs but when it comes to the saladthere?s no way to remedy that. I honestly wish that I just would?ve asked for a refund because upon getting to my destination,and trying to heat up the sandwich and fries, I realize we don?t even have the dipping sauce, which is a main component of aFrench dip sandwich.
