Came for th3 experience of trying kava and it was delicious and made me feel relaxed. There was a band playing too. Very nice!

These guys banned me for being drunk after serving me 3 cups of kava and I was feeling pretty wack and not able to walk. So if... you guys knew I was drunk and it?s dangerous to mix the two. Why did you sell it to me? Called them multiple times and every time the girl picked up she was nothing but great and helpful. Super good product, super... good customer service! Can't say enough good things about these guys. Tried Kava for the first time on my birthday and safe to say it was a great experience! We ordered through DoorDash and... unfortunately, a majority of the items we wanted were sold out. PS: They don't sell smoothies through DoorDash (SAD) Weordered: 1. Cloudbreaker 2. Mango Kava Shot 3. Mango Vanilla Dream 4. Kona Sunset We received: (2x) Cloudbreaker Even thoughwe did not receive the items we wanted, the people at Root of Happiness still gave us a free Cloudbreaker. (It was nice that westill had two drinks to split). TASTE: The taste of Kava is truly something that is acquired. The Cloudbreaker is rich androoted with flavor. I would put the taste somewhere along the lines of alcohol mixed with really sour, bitter medicine. TAKECAUTION. I was new to this experience, but I've always heard of stories of it making your lips go numb. This is TRUE. My lipsstarted to have that tingling feeling like pins and needles. Be warned, the taste does linger so be prepared to have some fruitor juice to mix it with. EFFECTS: After about 15-20 minutes, I could really feel the effects kicking in. My body started tofeel relaxed and I could feel a smirk coming on. Root of "Happiness" -- boy did I feel happy. I would compare the effects toCBD. Slightly relaxed, overall chill experience. I?m so glad I decided to go here one night with a friend. I did not know what kava was. The owner/manager was really nice, you... can tell he really wants his customers to be satisfied with the purchases. Just a precaution - tea on tap can taste differentlythan what you might expect. They do not taste sweet or super delicious but they help you relieve. And do not drink alcohol orget drunk before kava lol. I ordered the mint hot chocolate, the owner made it sweeter than he usually does and I love it. Myfriend got a bali tea which tasted sour, but she said it did help her with stress, muscle relief. Loved this place. I did not know of Kava at all before seeing it on google maps while searching for bar. I thought of goibg and... try it. The whole atmosphere of the place ia very friendly and you wont feel awkward being a total blank about kava. Staff isvery friendly, the girl at the counter helped me choose a drink and told me all about it. There are games, books to read andalso a outdoor patio area. This is a place where you should go to spend some time. The drink is so soothing you wont feel likeleaving for a while and the place is cozy afterall. I read some books and just sat there enjoyed the drink. As per the kavaitself, it is little bitter in taste and you should drink it in one go to feel the effect, thats what the lady there told me.The only and only thing I feel negative is that in my mango flavored drink I did not feel any flavor at all. It was bitter andwith no flavor of mango. Maybe the kava is so bitter that you dont feel it or the flavor was little less, dont know. Explorethis place, its fun. One more thing I would recommend is that if you want food you can take some with yourself as they do notoffer anything to eat.
