We got the beef rib soup and spicy pan fried squid and they were absolutely delicious. Soup had a clear yet flavorful broth and... the ribs were tender and soft while still maintaining great texture and consistency. The squid was perhaps the best I’ve everhad. Vegetables were al dente, cooked just enough to still have a bit of crunch but soft enough to easily eat. Squid was tenderand delicious - one could tell it was cooked perfectly. And the sauce was absolutely terrific; it was slightly sweet (but nottoo much so) and packed with so much flavor that I had to stop myself from scraping the plate clean after we’d finished thefood. On top of that, the food is also presented very well. It comes out in the traditional Korean stone plate/bowl, stillvigorously boiling/sizzling. This place is a must go for anyone who loves (or even remotely likes) Korean food. Read more

Lots of tasty side dishes, free refills if you like more! Very good and large size of main courses. We ordered three dishes, it... was good for two meals for two adults. The seafood pancake size is amazing and tastes great as well. Really great place to checkout! Read more

We had the mixed soft tofu soup and Bibimbap. It was delicious! The bimbibap came in a sizzling hot plate which was pretty cool... and it kept the food hot. And all the sides it comes with were yummy. I especially loved the cucumber kimchi. Great customerservice! I do want to come back and try other dishes! It is pricey! Read more

The only Korean food I have had thus far has been Korean barbecue. This place was phenomenal I got to try some amazing soup,... some of the best textured fried chicken ever and savory glass noodles. They're kimchi is the perfect level of spice with thatlight pickle taste to it. We even got to try the spicy squid and it is so ridiculously savory that even the vegetables have thesame flavor as the squid. It is just a tapestry of texture. The prices on the menu might be initially off-putting for some butthis is some place that you go with people and you order one or two dishes and then you'll be able to share off of them. Theyare huge portions and a super nice staff. Very pleased and will definitely be back for more. Read more

We stopped here spur of the moment and had a very good dinner. We ordered the spicy monkfish, bulgogi, and napa cabbage rolls.... For only being open 4 months I was pleased and we'd definitely come back. I will say that medium spicy was not enough for us soif you like spicy go up a level. The staff was fantastic and the portions are huge so order accordingly. Read more

We were heading to lunch and had decided on Sourdough & Co, but when we parked, we were almost directly in front of Seoul Zip,... and the Korean writing caught my eye, so I suggest a change of lunch plans. Walking in gave me a clue that we were in the rightplace... being the only white folks in there. Unfortunately, we also got the only Hispanic waitress. She didn't appreciate myattempts at speaking Korean and had to keep going back to the kitchen to get answers to all our questions. All the side disheswere excellent, and they kept replenishing them as we ran ran low. I haven't had a good kimchi since I was in Korea, but I washappy with what I had here... three different kinds! The three of us split the Hot Stone Mixed Rice. "Hot Stone" refers to thebowl it is served in, not the spiciness. We didn't mix the various veggies around the edge as others did. Instead we sampled allthe different flavors, trying to identify the ingredients. Overall, a good experience. I'd go back if we were in town again. Read more

I was really impressed by Seoulzip! We ordered the small ???? (sooyook) beef brisket/tripe/tendon combo and the ???... (soondaegook) spicy blood sausage soup for the three of us, and there was plenty of food. We even took the leftover sooyookto-go because there was so much to eat. They didn't skimp on ingredients at all -- their soondaegook was filled with meat, andthe sooyook was topped with green onions which went really well together. Their banchan was delicious too, and we got friedmackerel on the house for their soft opening. I'll definitely come back to try their other menu items! Read more
