Have been eating there for +25 years. Ordered through Slice, order was lost. Slice would not reorder for us, contacted Barbonis... directly asked to please remake order, would pay for again and pick up - they would not remake the order. Left us hungry anddisappointed. Said "Once the pizza leaves here we're not responsible" Buyer beware, no customer service, using drivers thatcannot be contacted and then fault the customer. Asked to talk to a manager about this horrible experience and they can't eventake the time to talk to me. After 25 years, we will NEVER use Barbonis again or Slice. This review is a warning, if there is aproblem, they won't fix it. Order at your own risk. Read more
It's me again.????Here to discuss my most recent outing. A friend & I went to Barboni's Pizzeria in Alta Loma. I had not been to... Barboni's in years. My friend had never been there @ all. When we entered the restaurant, there weren't very many people. Afamily in one of the booths & a couple of people seated on a bench waiting on their orders. We ordered a large pepperoni &jalapeño pizza & 2 drinks. The drinks do have refills, but the person working @ the counter has to fill them. The girl @ thecounter gave us a # & we went to a booth to await our order. We had ordered the thicker pan crust which is like the Sicilianstyle crust. After awhile, my friend began to complain about how long it was taking them to make the pizza. I did notice we hadbeen sitting for sometime, but I didn't mind. When the pizza came to the table, it was piping hot. The girl brought us 2 plates.My friend also asked for some red chile pepper flake because there wasn't a shaker @ the table. Whoever sliced the pizza did notdo that great of a job. Some slices were pretty much intact w/the slice next to it & even a few had the crust still together. Wetried using the metal pie spatula to cut & separate, but it was difficult, especially where the crust was still intact. Thecrust is good. I know this is just my preference, but I think the pizza could have used a little more sauce & thinly slicedfresh jalapeños, rather than the pickled jalapeños from a jar. The pickled jalapeños gave the pizza a bit of an odd flavor.Don't get me wrong the pizza was still good, but I felt it could have been a bit better. My friend said that she didn't feellike she was eating pizza, but more like eating cheese bread because of the softness of the bottom crust. I thought the outercrust somewhat crispy. The restaurant temperature was actually cool so we ate slowly & chatted awhile. The restaurant had aninflux of customers the later it got. Left with nothing! Placed an order online for pickup. Arrived on time to find out they gave my pizza away to someone else. I was... offered no refund and was told to deal with the service I used to order the pizza. The service said that the restaurant had todeal with it. So I'm out $50, no food, no helpful service and no compensation. Read more
Had some great pizza and dessert for dinner. The employees were a lot of fun to be around and seemed like they were enjoying... themselves which is always a plus. Ordered pepperoni pizza with a mug of beer. Can?t go wrong with that combo. May or may havenot spotted Joe Kelly here. ???? Let?s go Dodgers! Read more
Really good pizza and we are from the Bronx, so that's saying something. We have been going here every Sunday night for a few... months. Pizza consistently tasty and delicious. Decent beer and/or wine selection. Staff awesome. Very friendly andaccommodating. Sam is awesome, Amanda very friendly and Bree (who is new) is a pleasure . There is another young lady who Samintroduced to us as "the best pizza pie cutter" who is also super, but don't know her name. We moved to Rancho from Colorado in1989 and are always looking for good pizza. We drove by this place almost daily and never tried Barboni's until a year ago. Thatwas a mistake. First time eating here and OMG....It's been a long time since I had a pizza this good.... WOW... Delicious. Delivery was crazy... fast. Wings could have used a little more sauce, but the pizza definitely made up for it. You gotta try this place, you won'tregret it. Read more
A great neighborhood pizza restaurant. Pizza is very good and more reasonably priced than some of the quality chain pizza places... in the area. Sauce tastes home made, pizza crust is great and all the toppings tastes fresh. Dining area is clean and there is alot of seatings. They have good happy hour specials and decent beer selection. Besides their pizza, l love the lasagna & ravioli. It is nice to dine in. I have brought several friends here. I appreciate... their daily specials too. Read more
